Oh no. My plan is to hit DHS on Saturday (DH is an early riser and loves earlly EMH).

Do you think from 8am to noon, cheerleaders will impact the park a lot? DH wants to try anyway, but will be crabby if it is too crowded.

In my experience you don't see alot of the cheerleaders untill afternoon.

I thought that was likely. We try to hit parks really early, have lunch, do other things in the afternoon, and then do dinner/fireworks, etc later back in the parks.

Works for us no matter when we go to Disney. Especially since we tend to travel during school breaks with the masses.

I guess we will try the Saturday and report back to all how it goes.

When we were there in 08, we went to lunch on Sunday at PTC. We arrived at the park at 11:15amish. RnRC was at 60 minutes already. So we just did Muppets and another ride that I don't recall. Here's what we saw that day:

The thing you have to remember is the fact that the High School Cheerleading Competition also falls over President's Weekend this year. In 08, it was not.

We are going in early Feb. Cant't wait it is our welcome home trip as new DVCers. Bay Lake Tower here we come!!

Our trip is booked from 2/13-2/20/2010. We are all super excited and can't wait. This is my 4th trip to WDW, but my first time actually planning the trip. We will be staying at POFQ (have to stay with the New Orleans theme, since we will be there during Mardi Gras). Does anyone know if the parks or POFQ does anything special to celebrate Mardi Gras?
