We visited Disney World from Jan. 31st to Feb. 7th. The week went by so fast! All of the planning and making reservations for the nine of us really paid off. We were on the regular dining plan. It was plenty of food!

Here are the restaurants we visited:

Narcoossee's A++++
Wolfgang Puck Express (breakfast) A+
50's Prime Time Cafe B
Chef Mickey's A
Cosmic Rays B+
Sunshine Seasons A
Tutto Italia C
Pop Century (breakfast) B
Wolfgang Puck Express (dinner) A+
Pizzafari B
Boma (dinner) A
Columbia Harbour House B+
Ohana's
C+

First up is Narcoossee's. This restaurant was wonderful. In fact, it may have been the best meal of our trip! We arrived early for our 6pm reservation so we strolled around the Grand Floridian Resort. It was a chilly, but sunny evening.

On to the food....Warm sourdough bread and butter with sea salt sprinkled on top was brought out first.

Four of us had the Surf and Turf. One word, YUM!!!! Everyone raved about this dish. It was a huge portion.

One of us had the Filet Mignon (minus the lobster)
IMG_0158.jpg

My mother and uncle had the vegetarian dish. They both said it was very good but very small. This would be the case with most vegetarian dishes on our trip. :confused3 Disney should know that vegetarians are hungry too and serve the same size portions as the meat dishes!

Winter Vegetables - Pommes Anna, Goat Cheese Polenta with Rapini, Grilled Asparagus with tomatoes, and rainbow carrots with sherry citrus vinaigrette

The children had the kids mickey pasta with sauce and the chicken nuggets. Not too exciting...but they enjoyed it.

The deserts were very good here. They also have a wide variety of teas and coffees served in your own press pot. Very nice and included on the dining plan.

The kids loved making their own smores.

This restaurant opens at 9am. It's very nice inside. This is a great use of a counter service and we all left very full. You are allowed to get a drink and fruit cup with your meal here.

My brother ordered Wolfgang's Breakfast Pocket. It was huge and he couldn't finish it all.

Chocolate Chip Waffles. The kids loved this!
IMG_0175.jpg

Applewood Smoked Bacon Pizza. Sooo good. Everyone wanted a piece.

Three Cheese, Tomato and Basil Omelet - Yum!

Belgium Waffles

We went here for dinner after our Disney Hollywood Studios day. It was fun and the food was good. I don't feel the need to go back here on our next trip. It's kind of a been there, done that feeling. Our Uncle here was funny...but the waitress in the next room was hilarious. We spent most of our meal listening to her and giggling.

The vegetarian option here is a Roasted Pepper. The picture makes it look big but it was so small. We even complained about it. Our "Uncle" agreed with us. He said they will be changing the veggie option soon.

The Meatloaf was good.
IMG_0206.jpg

Fried Chicken. This was a large portion and very good.
IMG_0204.jpg

Char-grilled Butcher Tender Steak. The red wine sauce on the steak was not good. The potatoes were yummy and so was the steak after I scraped the sauce off:laughing:
IMG_0203.jpg

Kids Meatloaf. I don't know why they put the meatloaf on top of the mashed potatoes but my son did not like the flavors mixed together.

After the milkshakes and dinner it was pretty hard to finish these deserts but we sure tried! The kids had mini sundaes with sprinkles.

Sorry, no pictures of these two. Somehow forgot to take pics of the food...

Chef Mickey's. This restaurant was not crowded at all at 8:30am. We had a great table right by the window overlooking the Magic Kingdom. The characters were cute but hurried and didn't stay too long for pictures. The food was very good. I loved the breakfast Lasagna. YUM! All was fresh and plentiful. We all really enjoyed this breakfast.

Cosmic Rays. The toppings bar was very good. Sauteed onions and mushrooms, fresh tomatoes, lettuce and pickles. Cheese sauce for the fries. We all had burgers. The deserts were the typical too sweet pre-packaged cakes. We didn't plan on eating here but Columbia Harbour House closed at 5pm :confused3 which was our first choice. Later in the week we made it to CHH for lunch.

GREAT REVIEW!!!!!!!! Love the pics.!!!!!! I can't wait to try WPE!!!!!!!

popcorn::

We went to Sunshine Seasons for lunch. Very nice selections! I had the Turkey and Monterey Jack Cheese on Foccacia. It was a huge sandwich. I really liked the potato salad it came with.
IMG_0327.jpg

My son had the sweet and sour chicken with two sides. He didn't care for this. It was different than the chinese food we have back home. It was okay.
IMG_0330.jpg

The vegetarian option was very good here. Oak Grilled Vegetable Flatbread Sandwich.

I really wanted to like this restaurant. I read so many good reviews... but in the recent weeks before our trip, some not so good ones. I was nervous but kept the reservation anyway.

Here's a picture of the olive dish they give you. We liked this.
IMG_0350.jpg

Dad had the Casareci - cavatelli pasta, sweet sausage ragu, tomatoes, Pecorino Romano. He ate it but didn't comment. I don't think he was impressed.
IMG_0354.jpg

A few of us had the Cannelloni al Forno - baked with spinach, ricotta, bechamel and parmesan cheese. The camera made this dish look like a big portion but this dish was sooo tiny! It tasted good. Nothing special. We were all pretty disappointed.
IMG_0359.jpg

One of us had the Penne Caprese - with crushed tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and basil. This was a nice size portion. Most of us wished we ordered it!
IMG_0355.jpg

Here is a picture of the kids pasta with alfredo sauce. My son really liked this.
IMG_0358.jpg

Here is the kids spaghetti and meatballs.

DH had the steak dish. He said this was an extremely bland dish. The steak had no seasoning.
IMG_0356.jpg

All of the deserts were very good here.
I had the sampler. It's not on the allears menu.

Overall, we enjoyed the deserts, but the meal did not meet our expectations. No one in our party of nine asked to eat here again. Simply put, the service was excellent. The food was not....

:-/ Sorry about Tutto. A restaurant definitely isn't worth just the desserts! Glad you got good service though-- sometimes that'll annoy me more than bad food!!

What everyone says is true. This counter service restaurant is wonderful. The service is great and the food is exceptional.

I ordered the Spaghetti with Meatballs - house-made Niman Ranch meatballs, cooked in a signature beef Bolognese sauce on fresh artisan spaghetti. This was a REALLY big portion. It came with a yummy Caesar salad.

IMG_0380.jpg

DS ordered the kid's spaghetti. It doesn't come with meatballs so I shared some of mine.
IMG_0383.jpg

My other DS ordered the kids Quesadilla. He enjoyed this.
IMG_0382.jpg

DH ordered the Chicken Tortilla Focaccia melt. He liked this.
IMG_0384.jpg

Mom ordered the Mediterranean Vegetable Focaccia Melt. She thought this was a great veggie option.
IMG_0386.jpg

My brother had the Rigatoni with Chicken Alfredo. I tried it and it was awesome!
IMG_0388.jpg

We also had the Meatball and Parmesan pizza.
IMG_0385.jpg

and....the delicious creme brulee is to die for!

We LOVED this restaurant. It's a new favorite. The waiter did tell us they are changing there menu this week. He said there would be some new vegetarian options also. I just hope they keep most of our favorites!

Hands down, the best CS on property. There's no better value on the DDP. Such great food! You took terrific pictures!

Your pics of WPE are wonderful and very yummy looking! I ate there for the first time last fall and loved it.
