We visited Disney World from Jan. 31st to Feb. 7th. The week went by so fast! All of the planning and making reservations for the nine of us really paid off. We were on the regular dining plan. It was plenty of food!
Here are the restaurants we visited:
Narcoossee's A++++
Wolfgang Puck Express (breakfast) A+
50's Prime Time Cafe B
Chef Mickey's A
Cosmic Rays B+
Sunshine Seasons A
Tutto Italia C
Pop Century (breakfast) B
Wolfgang Puck Express (dinner) A+
Pizzafari B
Boma (dinner) A
Columbia Harbour House B+
Ohana's C+
First up is Narcoossee's. This restaurant was wonderful. In fact, it may have been the best meal of our trip! We arrived early for our 6pm reservation so we strolled around the Grand Floridian Resort. It was a chilly, but sunny evening.
On to the food....Warm sourdough bread and butter with sea salt sprinkled on top was brought out first.
Four of us had the Surf and Turf. One word, YUM!!!! Everyone raved about this dish. It was a huge portion.
One of us had the Filet Mignon (minus the lobster)
My mother and uncle had the vegetarian dish. They both said it was very good but very small. This would be the case with most vegetarian dishes on our trip.
Disney should know that vegetarians are hungry too and serve the same size portions as the meat dishes!
Winter Vegetables - Pommes Anna, Goat Cheese Polenta with Rapini, Grilled Asparagus with tomatoes, and rainbow carrots with sherry citrus vinaigrette
The children had the kids mickey pasta with sauce and the chicken nuggets. Not too exciting...but they enjoyed it.
The deserts were very good here. They also have a wide variety of teas and coffees served in your own press pot. Very nice and included on the dining plan.
The kids loved making their own smores.
Almond Crusted cheesecake
The Gelato Sampler
Key Lime Brulee
Chocolate Mousse (not on the Allears menu)
