We are also staying at POR the 11th - 18th! When I was little - we went to the MK every year for a day. (We would drive up from Sarasota)

I'm so excited to take my DS 18 months and DD5 (her second trip) and DH - only his third trip. This is the first time for all of us staying on property. I'm trying hard to strike the balance between planning well and not overscheduling.

These boards have been a wealth of information.

FOr those of you there - what park do you think will be best for Valentine's Day? Or would that be a good rest day?

Sorry I'm a little late in joining the thread!

DH, DS - 5, DD - 1, and I are staying in the Poly from Feb 3rd - 11th. Although we were there for a short stay in 2005 when DS was almost 1.5, this is the first trip we have taken to WDW as a family.

Just got the Magic Express stuff in the mail this week so it REALLY feels close now!

Our only ADR is to Cindy's palace Wed evening. I might add a Crystal Palace breakfast that morning since I'm pretty sure the kids won't sleep in that first day. I am not a huge fan of ADRs due to having to pay for it all up front. We have over $400 in rewards dollars to use and I'd rather put our food $$ towards that.

I have started a list of things we need to bring, joined a photopass share group, going to order from a delivery service things like diapers and milk....MAN this site has been a lifesaver for me! And now I can already join in saying next month we'll be at Disney!!!!

I am not a huge fan of ADRs due to having to pay for it all up front.

I just wanted to let you know that MOST restaurants don't require you to pay ahead of time.

There are certain places that do, i.e. California Grill, and I think for Character Meals you do, but most other sit down restaurants for a normal meal do not require deposits or advance payment.

Someone else might be able to give a better explanation on which restaurants DO require those advance payments, but I know it is the exception and not the rule!

Disney Next MONTH!!!!!

I am so happy!

I have pretty much run out of things to plan without over planning.

Our first time making ADR's each day, husband is doing the Petty Driving Experience one day, we want to spend one day at ESPN the weekend. I think that is enough planning.

Yes, lots of snow and ice in CT. I almost went to south florida this month and then thought about flying in January....nah. Hoping no snow in February when we fly.

It is nice to be in company with so many excited about GOING TO DISNEY NEXT MONTH!!!!!!

We'll be there! February 10-17 at the Grand Floridian. It will be me, DH, dd (11), dd (9) and ds (8) and my mil and fil. The girls are competing in Twirlmania at Wide World of Sports on the 15th and will be in both MK parades on February 14.

February 11 - Biergarten (dinner)
February 12 - Liberty Tree Tavern (dinner) Kids - Wonderland Tea Party
