On a bright note..DS's Jack Sparrow costume came in today. He has been wearing it ever since. He is hilarious.

Hey All ~~

Well, we leave in 1 week!!!! Whoo Hoo

This time next Thurs. we'll be well on our way to Florida!!!! I'm doing some packing, a little here and there, but, I'm soooooo ready to go!!!

Just an FYI - I gave DS a Zicam Rapidmelt (cherry) last night and it seems like his cold has almost gone completely away!!!! It's crazy - I'm going to give him another one tonight, but it seems like it is REALLY working!! I've used the spray before and it worked really well for me, so I saw the melts yesterday and thought "why not try it for DS" -- so far so good!!!

SO - let's do the one week boogie!!!!

I heard the Mardi Gras Mambo on the radio this morning and realized I will miss the music! DH is burning a CD to bring with us. I can't wait to see everyone in their beads and LSU colors!!

Not that Mardi Gras preparations and WDW preparations were enough to contend with, my wife has volunteered to take the kids to see Hannah Montana tomorrow in N.O. while I'm away hunting for Bambi's Dad. Just Joking.

Any Mardi Gras evacuees staying at the Contemporary? I was 2 years old the last time I stayed there. I understand there is/was some construction going on. What's the the status now?

Hi, everyone! We are watching the new planning DVD. I'm packing this weekend. I can't wait for next Saturday!!!! Oh, and a girl that I teach with (she's from NO) brought me a big bag of Mardi Gras beads to bring with us.

I checked the 10 day forcast this morning and it looks like it's going to get warmer. Highs about 70-72 degrees. Even today, it's 60 degress there as opposed to 40-something so I am liking that!

We don't leave until Sunday but I am very excited! I've got the kids MG shirts out. We'll wear them to the parade on Saturday and them wash them up and pack them for Tuesday.

Thank goodness the weather will be warmer! We will be able to catch one parade tomorrow night, then try and make next Friday nights as well, then off we go!

We will arrive in WDW on the 3rd and stay through the 9th, so I am not sure where we will be our last night. If we do I will let you know and maybe we can meet!!

Well, I can finally say we're leaving THIS Thursday night!!!!! I'll be packing (adding to what's already there) this weekend. CAN YOU BELIEVE WE'RE ALMOST THERE!!!???? I feel like I have to do EVERYTHING this weekend b/c Mon - Weds are sooo busy for us with dancing, religion class, & my husband teaches private music lessons on M & W. Thursday will be here before I know it and I DON'T want to have anything to do Thursday except pack up the van and rest because we're driving at night.

WOOOHOOOO!!!! 6 more days!!!!!
