These next 4 days wont go by fast enough, we are getting our first good blast of winter weather in Buffalo Its a snowing and blowing and white outs all over the place, I cant wait for some warm weather and sun.

We have a 4 year old. It looks like all the excursions to St. John are 5 and up. We are thinking of doing it ourselves. Has anyone tried this? If we go to Caneel bay, can you use the hotel bar, etc?

We are leaving tomorrow! Nothing says VACATION'S COMING more than printing up those Southwest Airline passes!

WOOHOOO I am officially on vacation!!!

I have neglected the DIS since work has been crazy the past week and half, but now I am on VACATION!!

So Hmmmm, Idle woman awaiting vacation checks weather forecast.....

Drumroll please....... Well my friends the weather looks in Sunny Florida, forecast says 78 on departure day.... St. Thomas early forecast says Rainy BUT 80, so maybe the clouds and rain will be moving to get out of the Magics way St. Maarten ok so I cant seem to get a 10 day forecast but they are in the low 80 range all week and sunny....

Seems we may have some Beautiful weather coming our way

I dont care if it rains, I will dance in the warm southern rain, Its a heck of a lot better than white stuff covering every thing around me these days

So here is my 3 days to go cheer

Okay we are all packed up and flying out bright and early tomorrow morning. We'll be at WDW before the cruise. Given our commando style in the past we will be looking forward to a nice long relaxing cruise...

Dave, Quick note the T-shirts turned out great! We can't wait for you to see them!

Rottie110, my DH (the weather geek) has been checking the 10 day forcasts as well and agrees that everything looks great for the week at sea. (rain...schmain....)

Hi everyone!! Looking forward to meeting everyone on the ship.

Quick question for everyone..who ahsn't already left.

We are leaving tomorrow evening, going to French Quarter until Sat, picked up and then taken to cruise. We received these green and white sticky tags that said FRCH on top. I am assuming that means french quarter.... My concern, being that we get in at mindnight tomorrow night, how do I know if these are Magic Express, or do I have to get my luggage from the turnstyle. I didn't get any magic express tag along with this..thought I might. My TA says that we have Magic Express, but I don't want to get to the airport, and not know what to do.

Is anyone else traveling and transferring this way?

Eric, Unfortunately we ar still here
We have the magical express for our luggage and bodies also, we are going direct to the ship but we have bright lime green colored luggage tags, my step mom has done this before and the colors and codes on them are so the airline knows they are disney (green color) and the codes are for disney to deliver to the right spot so you shouldnt see your luggage until you get to your hotel... I just noticed your arrival time, you may want to call disney and just ask how that will work for you at that time of night, or do they have a bus picking you up at the airport, if so you are all set, you can ask the cm who will meet your family at the gate, if you have disney transportation to the resort also.

Oh yeah, and you should have transfer vouchers in your book of paperwork that you recieved too.
See you on the ship, we didnt get to make the shirts but will look for them.

That clears up so much...

Our bags say FRCH on the 16th. then to port on the 18th. Only concern is that my brown book doesn;t say anything about us being transferred to port orleans that night, but my TA assues me that we are all ok. If not, will be thumbing it down the highway.

This is our first cruise, we did not make shirts either, but we will look for those who have...please describe them for me.

Also, you have any children travelling with you. Me and my partner have a, 11yo daughter, and we are travelling also with her godparents.

the shirts I made for us have a green mickey on the front breast with www.disboard.com under it on the back is a picture of Mickey and Minnie at the wheel of a boat ... you should be able to find us in the port or at the 3 pm meet Dock side

Eric, Glad I cleared it up, someone should meet you from disney with a sign past the security gates when your flight arrives, hope you dont have to thumb it. My son is only 4, and I have a 15 yr old brother going with us too,, we are a group of ten cant miss us we will be the goofy ones LOL... 6 adults 1 teenager and a 4 yr old with a brush cut.(that makes it easy doesnt ) My son and I are cruising for the first time but the rest of the group are all veteran dclers

Dave: Thanks for the shirt description, will definitely look for you guys, I believe one of your daughters is my sons age he is 4 Will probably miss everyone at port we wont arrive until we figure around 2:30 or so, god willing our flights are on time we are supposed to get some 60mph winds and nasty snow/rain friday but should be done by our 6am flight time out of Buffalo....
