Just bumping us I can't have the kids' thread be above ours......

The weather still seems OK for us next week, but just north of us they got 60 inches of snow, and another 1 to 2 feet today, with no end in sight......
They all really need a cruise. Most school have been closed all week so far.
Here this morning it is just really cold -3 F, we have proabably a couple feet of snow bu the roads are clear.

That's a lot of snow! We have had barely any this year--we have maybe 2 inches right now--not a typical winter here--we usually have a few feet at this time! (We had one snow day-usually have 5 or more by now--kids will be out by June 13th if we don't have any more) The weather seems OK now for next Wednesday, but it's still early.

Yes, some of the roads were closed, if you are watching Good Morning America apparently their meteorologist is there today, unfortunately I am at work and I can't see it.

Question about formal night: I am not bringing a formal dress or any dress because wearing a dress on vacation is not my idea of a vacation. My only concern is that our formal night would fall when they do the thing with the lights in Animators Palate. Has anyone that had cruised before seen anyone dressed in non-formal cothes at the restaurants on formal night? I am just curious as we would miss if they really enforce the formal dress code.

I know we have other places we can eat, I would just rather not miss out on the light thing.

We saw everything from very formal dresses, to cocktail dresses, to casual dresses, to nice pants and a shirt on our last DCL.

For Vivian and I, today's weather is GLORIOUS!! Blue skies with a few clouds and a 70 degree temp at noon!!!

Only kidding! Our weather is much warmer today. It is now a whopping 20 degrees! But very windy. It's all relative though. It seems warm compared to the last few days!

In one week I will be on a plane (within minutes) to warmer weather

My DS12(almost 13) and I will be joining you next week!!

This will be our 7th Disney cruise and we are SO excited. Have really enjoyed meeting fellow DISers on past cruises but unfortunately haven't been on the DIS since last August so have a LOT to catch up on!

Just saw where someone started a kid's thread for our cruise and think it's a wonderful idea. I'll have my son post soon IF I can drag him away from his new Xbox

Will try to catch up when I have more time but for now just wanted to say a big HELLO and WOO HOO that our cruise is so soon

This will be our 7th Disney cruise and we are SO excited. Have really enjoyed meeting fellow DISers on past cruises but unfortunately haven't been on the DIS since last August so have a LOT to catch up on!

Just saw where someone started a kid's thread for our cruise and think it's a wonderful idea. I'll have my son post soon IF I can drag him away from his new Xbox

This has been a busy day for me and tomorrow doesn't seem like it will be any better. Nothing like work being piled up a few days before you leave on vacation. WE LEAVE IN 2 DAYS!!!

If I don't get a chance to post again, I will hope to see most of you at our 1st Dis meet. 3PM at the Mickey pool, right??? I have it writen down somewhere but I'm not sure where.

I read daily about snow and cold weather , schools closing from all of you all while I am hot in our 85 degree weather! The cold weather sounds like a nice change!

Lisa do you think you will get to the transfers by this weekend? If not I totally understand just trying to figure it out. We fly out Monday night!! YIKES!

Welcome! We are all meeting at Mickey's pool at 3:00 on embarkment day. We are also going to be wearing those lime green mickey paint chips from Home Depot so we can tell who we all are.... 7 cruises wow! this is our first cruise ever!
