We just booked the Valentine's Day Western for 2004.

Anyone else out there going on that cruise?

Hi SnowW's Mom!

I am going with my dd who will be 17 then. We just got back from the Western same week this year, and we had a wonderful time! The weather was picture perfect! She might be bringing a friend who also was on the cruise this year.

Only 10 months, 20 days, 17 hours (you get the picture) LOL

Glad to hear that there will be older teens on board. Last year there was a very large group of 15 to 17 year olds who all knew each other already, which made it hard for our somewhat shy son to meet kids his age. The first couple of days were a little shaky, until he met another boy who was basicaaly in the same position. By the end of he week they had met a lot of kids, and had a great time. Thank goodness for the unlimited internet on board!

Since it's school vaction week (President's Day week) for the Northeast, hopefully there will be a lot of older teens on that cruise.

We have gone the last 3 years during Presidents week. There has always been a large group of teens, alot of them also had been every year. Next year most of them aren't going again, once out of high school, they seem to outgrow it. One boy who had gone every year, went last month, and was very unhappy and out of place now being 18. I think this might be the last year for my daughter as well, once off to college, she may not even have the same vacation week. I'm sure your son will have a blast, have him go to the 411 on the first night. My dd is far from shy, who knows, they may end up being on the same team. This year they had all kinds of team activities, and my daughters team mates were two boys, one from New York, and one from Washington. They had so much fun!
