February 14-18, 2010 4 Night Wonder Cruise

Hi...

I stumbled across this yesterday, lots of "Mickey Ear" options...
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2172891 ...looks pretty simple (now if I only I would just do it ;>)

Last year's cruise, I searched and saved many files, bought the magnet paper --- but never got around to printing anything:) Oh well, maybe this time I will get it done...they are just so cute.

Wow! Those are so cute. I know our girls would get a kick out of decorating the door. There are some very talented people on the DIS!

I've seen people do this, and I am so impressed. I cannot sew a button, let alone one of these creative things. How can someone get involved without having to sew one? Is there a way to create one WITHOUT a sewing machine? I would DEFINITELY love to do this. Seems like so much fun! :thumbsup2

Just found this thread on the main board: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2285576

Looks like a pretty easy way to make a fish extender! No sewing involved!

browyn: ok, I think you are on Disboards as much as I am, lol
That does look easy, I can't wait to see the finished product.

Well.... I have to admit that today, I did not get much accomplished on my "to do" list. I mean, half the fun is in the planning, right?!

Hey guys, how bout we get a roster going? One of us with posts on the first page could "edit" that post to include it so it would be easy to find. At the minimum include children's ages at time of sailing, how much info would you be comfortable sharing: where you live, where you are staying the night before the cruise, what deck you are on/cabin #, whether you want to participate in Fish Extender, etc. ? Nita and I are "friends" on Facebook, is anyone else on Facebook and would want to be "friends" ?

I am fine with it. so are you going to start it. lol

ok, I got to get off my duff and get my families passports. I have mine but not the husband or kids. Well I guess I could just leave them at home, huh!

I know I don't have to have them but I just would feel better.

Today is 2 weeks since we submitted our passport application, nothing yet but it really is too soon. :surfweb:

I got mine last year before my first cruise ( girlfriend trip) it took only 3 weeks.

Same here - It took 3 weeks for us last year to get our kids' passports--I was actually surprised they came so fast :goodvibes

Ok, I live in Georgia, I am starting to think we need to buy a boat if it does not stop raining..... I am ready for some sunshine. This puts a damper on my cruise planning, it just makes me sleepy.

No passports yet, today is 3 weeks since applied, maybe they will come in the mail today?????? We did get our Disney Cruise booklet from TA this past week, nothing I didn't know already just basic info about the cruise. I've started sending out a weekly countdown email to my work email and my friends home and work email, I include a cruise related picture (I put the picture on my desktop) and #weeks to go (yesterday it was 20) and am starting to add a tip I've gotten from the boards. If anyone wants to get this weekly email PM me your email address! I'll try to get that roster going, I'm putting it on my "to do" list for today.

Did you know you can check the status of your passport application on line? "Google" passport status and you will see a link for the State Department (not sure if I can post the link since it is not a Dis site), but it will be something like travel.state.gov.

Enjoy your Saturday!:)

I did know that, it just keeps saying "processing" ! Wonder if that will change when they mail them? They didn't come in today's mail, maybe sometime next week? Don't know why I am so anxious, it's not like we're cruising in the next month! Just excited, I guess!

Yes!! I finally booked my hotel for the night before.lol I know , its takes me forever to decide anything. I booked at the Raddison, for now unless something better comes along.
Laura: I looked into the Quality Suites, but they only have rooms with one bed and a sofa sleeper. That would not work for us. Ashley refuses to sleep with little brother. And I am not sleeping on a sofa sleeper, if I can help it.

Welcome DisneyPoly: WOW, 8 Disney cruises. I am guessing that you love Disney.

Well we got our passports yesterday! 3 weeks and 2 days from applying! We got our birth certificates back today!

Nita: J won't sleep in the same bed as A, either, so we let J have the sofa bed, and A sleeps on an inflatable mattress.
