We are, however very jealous . All we really want, however, would be to have all our rooms togeter. At least on the same deck

Can't complain though we did get our dining changed from late to early

Cruise looks better every day when the temperatures here are below zero and almlost ten inches of snow on the ground. Maybe, we should have made it longer

Hate to rub it in but we were upgraded from a Cat 8 to a Cat 5 for our first cruise. DSs are very excited about having a veranda stateroom.

I do agree on the cold weather. -15 wind chill this morning not much better the rest of the week. Less than 30 days to warmer weather.

I was thinking we should have made it a longer cruise, too.
This weather is horrible. The kids are hoping that they get a snow day this week because it is to cold to go to school.

I would love to stay in a veranda cabin. DD is afraid she might fall out.

We usually stay in an inside because it is very dark. The kids can sleep in becasue they don't know what time it is.

On our last cruise, DS asked if we could at leasst have a window. We'll see how that works this time.

Someone had mentioned a meet onboard.
I know that my kids would love to get to know some kids before they get into the clubs.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a time and location?

Typical times for a DIS meet are 3 or 3:30 either by the Goofy pool (pick a side!) so that the kids can swim or by Studio Sea. It's easier to find each other by Studio Sea, but the pool tends to be more fun (also noisier). If you do the pool, either plan to wear something green (scarf, hat, lanyard?) or get the green Mickey name tags from Home Depot paint department and put them in/on your lanyards. It just helps to identify each other.

If the goal is for the kids to identify other kids, some e-mail correspondence in advance can be helpful.

Anyone staying at the Radission at Port before the cruise?

We're at the All Star Sports and driving down the morning of the cruise. It was hard to pass up the $49 rate. SSR for 1 night following the cruise.

We are:

Boys only trip this time. DW staying at home with the dog.

We would be up for a meet. Maybe our DS 9 & and your DS 10 could hang?

We looked at stay at Sports ,too. The kids wanted to go to the beach, see the space center and DH- shuttle launch.

My kids aren't into WDW.

I am sure Matt would enjoy meeting your son.

We saw the shuttle launch in Oct from the top of Summit Plummit. It was very cool, they stopped everything going on and counted down the launch so we could all see it.

Any idea what time the launch is scheduled for on the 12th?

The launch is scheduled for 7am.

Remember that shuttle launches are frequently rescheduled. Not to be a party pooper, but.....the captain does try to get us to a good position to watch if it is the night before we are to dock at PC.

Arriving on Wednesday night and doing a one way rental with Budget. Hopefully, we will have a good view of the shuttle lauch from here.

As DVC members we were a little bummed about not being upgraded when it seems cash ressies get upgraded often. I think having a window will make a big difference!

For those of you who have dined at Palo's.....is it necessary to wear a suit and tie? Can a man get away with wearing a nice shirt without a tie, such as a Tommy Bahama? thanks!

It's getting closer!

We just booked a private airboat tour for the 4 of us on Wed. We are looking forward to it. This will be our excursion since we are not getting off the ship in Nasssua.

We asked the kids if they wanted to do WDW. They said no .
