LOL you're all impatient! It went very well. They were very nice and I will be working with them. They are a very nice average working class couple. I think it will be easy to relate to them on many levels. They were both a nervous wreck and quite shy so thankfully I can talk to anyone about anything. I pretty much had to keep the conversation going all during lunch. They were much better at dinner though. The only kinda weird/creepy thing is that he kept staring at me. My counselor said that's very common because they're already trying to figure out what their baby will look like. Makes sense but it was still a little odd.

I have no idea when we'll get started because I know there is lots of paperwork for them to do now. Once they get that done, I'll get contracts and then it's time to get pregnant!!! I got the impression that they're going to be very quick about getting their stuff done. He's already talking about the baby as if it's already here.

Naw, we not impatient........... we just want to know !!!

Anne, that's a very good possiblity. It's funny because they don't even care so much about that because they're just so excited. And no matter what, I could about guarantee that the baby will look like me. My family has such strong genes!

Oh, I forgot to mention the cutest thing about our match meeting. All during the meeting with my counselor, he kept wiping his eyes. He wasn't bawling like a baby or anything but he was very emotional. She was kind of the same way but it wasn't as obvious as when he did it.

Steph, we had friends stay there in July....seems like a nice place. We are off to a warm climate in less than 3 weeks also......... hate not being able to wear shorts here in MI.

Where might that warm weather be?
We stayed last October at the Sabel Palms and it was really nice now we are staying at the Royal Palms the internet showed that they looked exactly alike(just different colors). We stayed in a three bedroom last time, with our friends and their kids, this time we are at a two bedroom with my foxy aunt.

Anyone have any words of wisdom. There is a good possiblity that Larry will not be able to take a vacation this spirng. I'm torn between the girls & I just going or tranfering the reservation.
I have already gotton airline tickets but they were fairly reasonable.

Any ideas would be welcome

Wendy, good to hear from you, but bummer that Larry can't cruise with you in the spring. Will he be able to go another time? Is there a penalty for transfering dates? Do you and the girls desperately need a break? Hard decision. Your girls are at a good age to take them solo. Did they hang around you a lot last yr on the cruise? If so, would be fun to spend some female bonding time together. If not, you may spend much of your time alone, which can be OK....but maybe too much alone time? Everyone's circumstances are different - for me would be hard to cruise without my Larry as he travels for work and we only see him on weekends, holidays and vacations. Not saying I wouldn't do it, but understand your dilemma. For me, it would also depend on if I was able to go on another vaction with him, at a later time. Oh, and of course the $$ available for vacations.

Laura and I are doing a Southern Caribbean cruise in October. No Kids..just us Adults........... Well, Laura is an Adult........

Guess which cruise line I wanted to go on.......that's right...... I lost........

So we are sailing out of San Juan. For the real, in detail story, it requires the use of a telephone......Hint Hint......

I'm still here! I know there is still time to get on that cruise but I really can't see it happening. I have about a week and a half before our first attempt at getting pregnant. I'm really crossing my fingers that it works out the first time because they're so anxious to have a baby.

Joe told me he talked to you and that you really did enjoy your cruise with Laura. Sorry I missed you that day. That darn work thing just gets in the way of my social life sometimes. LOL

Well, I know for sure now that we won't be joining Mark, Laura, Bill, Julia and thier families in Feb. I found out today that I'm pregnant!!! I have my due date figured out to be about Aug. 21st, 2006. So we definately have to plan for a trip in 2007!
