we used to like Dec but now hear it's crowded, so we started going Jan but our last trip was pretty cold a day or 2 so now wondering what crowds and weather is like in Feb? any holidays that would make it crowded? are there usually any promos? how about march?
Thanks

We went last Feb (1-7) and I thought it was a nice time to go. Of course, I think any time is a nice time to go!

Unfortatunately, we did not have great weather. The forecast had called for mid-70s all week, so we packed mostly warm weather clothes. Turned out to be rainy and mid-50s to 60s. I don't know if that was bad luck or what the weather is typically like then.

The crowds were definitely manageable. It wasn't empty by any means, but we didn't have huge waits for anything.

Do be careful of Presidents weekend - that will definitely have a surge in crowds.

I forgot the last question - sorry!

I've also been there in March a couple of times. The weather is nicer in March, but the crowds are heavier due to spring breaks starting. Many schools have spring break in March rather than April.

I went last Feb too. The weather was cool but the crowds were NIL!
I'd go back again during that time.

I have never been in March but I know that here in Canada a lot of people go down for March Break which is our spring break.

I love to go during the first or second week of Feb. After that it gets more crowded, especially for Presidents Weekend! The weather does vary greatly, but it is usually chilly in the early mornings and at night. You just have to pack losts of clothes, ranging from shorts to jackets and long pants. I love going this time of year though!

I have never been there in March, but with spring breaks, I would try to avoid it, if possible.

We were there in February this year during Super Bowl weekend and it was pretty busy. I figured that perhaps wives, children, and husbands were compromising on the weekend (you take us to DW one day and we'll let you watch the Super Bowl with your buddies the next day).

The weather was great during the day but once the sun set, it was very cool. We made the mistake of not bringing a jacket to EMH night at MK. We were "forced" to buy jackets from the Emporium.

We've been there many times in Feb. The weather is usually pretty nice, but it can be cool. The tendency is for the days to be warm, but early am's and pm's to be cool. So you have to go back to your room to put on long pants at night, or wear jeans all day (t-shirt and sweater/sweatshirt layers).

Early Feb is going to be cooler, late Feb is going to be more temperate.

President's week gets a little busy, but not that bad. With all the Disney promos the rest of the year, it probably won't be THAT bad. It is the start of peak season price wise though. You'll pay a lot less if you check in before Valentine's day (not busy).

One thing that makes February fantastic though is just seeing green and palm trees. Especially if you live in one of the colder parts of the country, when you get back you know winter is almost gone. If you go later, you miss seeing 'spring' at home.

March and especially Easter week tend to be considerably more crowded. You'll get the spring break crowd.
