Feb Half Term 2014 Cheapish deals

I am happy to be corrected but have just done a search with BA (their website) for February half term next year (I am very strictly tied to the school hols as I teach) and they have come in with several packages under £2k for flights and hotels (3 and 4 star) off site for a family of 2 adults and 2 children.

That price is me including the Channel Island to LGW leg which should technically add some cost.

Not sure if this is as bargainous as I think it is but for those very strictly tied to the school hols this may be interesting.

What are term dates for next year? My girls start in sept 2014 so wanted to go away october half term.

Maybe your dates vary from main schools here so might be cheaper that way

Normally we match with dates. We break up on 21st Feb for feb half term as the Easter hols are later next year (we break up April 11th).

You would be best checking with your LEA website to establish the term dates for the next academic year for the school your children will be attending. We are published right through to July 2015 so I'm pretty sure you'll have no problems finding them.

My parents live in Yorkshire and lea's there vary sometimes on their dates. The week before Nd week after were coming up the same price and if you could pull children out for a week to tag on the two week price was very good (I thought) too x

yes those dates don't match ours for half term ... we're 15th Feb next year but we finish for Easter on the 4th ... the Easter weekend is at the end of our break.

The dates are all on the council website ... give it a look!
