Thinking of a quick trip the first weekend of February since AP rates are back. Our check-in date would be Feb 1st (through the 6th). Mousesavers has for travel dates 1/16 to 2/4, $30 off value, $60 off mods, and $96 off deluxes. Here are the rates I'm getting from CRO:

AsMo (only preferred available) - $76 (value season rate $91)
Mods - $104 (value season rate $139)
WL (only courtyard available) - $195 (value season rate $260)
CR (garden water wing) - $220 (value season rate $290)

Is anyone getting better rates than these for early February? Discounts used to be valid for your dates of stay as long as check-in date met the cutoff -- does that not work that way anymore? Although the 2/5/06-2/15/06 discounts don't meet those numbers either.

Checking online through the passholder site they list the same rates as Mousesavers

I think that Mousesavers gives you the price pre-tax.
For your dates:
Rack rate is $79.00 for the standard room during those dates so, $79.00-$30 $49.00. Preferred rooms are 89.00 per night.
.
I checked the Passholder's website and I could not get the Movies at all, only the Music, the rate is $49.00, after tax it comes to $55.38, a preferred room is $59.00 or $68.94 per night after tax.

Thanks I'll have to check the website. Oooh, I wish I had brought my AP to work today. It is at home so now I have to wait until later today. BTW, the prices I got from CRO were before tax!

That's interesting. I booked through CRO about 2 days before BRP "died" and was told at that point that my deposit was refundable (which they now are) and instead of looking for a BRP rate the CM was looking for the right "code". However, the rate given to me by CRO and the one I was able to find online with the new "Passholder Benefit" were the exact same rate.

I couldn't stand waiting. I went home at lunch and got my AP! Was able to book online at the mousesaver specified rates. Booked AsMo for 2 nights (only preferred was available though) and Wilderness Lodge for 3 nights (only Courtyard View was available). I really wanted to do WL for 5 nights as I actually don't like split stays, but since only CY view was available, the price difference was considerable. DS has been begging to go back to "Buzz" hotel anyway...so 2 nights at a value can't be that bad LOL.

Was able to get seats on frequent flier award travel, but we did 2 tickets on my account and 1 on DH's account -- and we couldn't get the same return flight, they are an hour apart, so that might be a bit of a pain.

Now to plan dining! Oh yeah, I guess I should actually get back to work too :goodvibes
