Feb Airfare ??

We all know you really can't count on anything when it comes to the airlines and their pricing, but I'll ask anyway.

DW, DS and I are planning on flying last week of February, I can get Delta at $196.00 per person (flying out of Milwaukee). My question is this, do I wait for something to come along cheaper, do any of you have experience with this time of year? And do any of you have any insight on what the airlines typically do during that time of year?

I booked our flight for the first wk of Feb. just last wk. I had been watching the fares and missed $169.00 out of Philly and was waiting for them to drop again. Waited a little too long and finally booked @ 196.00. How long you wait depends on how flexible your dates and times are. I booked through cheap tickets and the rep. told me that there are only 9 lowest fare tickets on each flight, once they are gone the price goes up to the next tier. Don't know if this is true, but in order to get all 8 of us on the same flight, with the lowest fare, I had to chg dates. You also might try posting this on the transportation board.

I booked online with Midwest Express out of Milwaukee 2nd week of Feb for $225 per person.
