We just booked our second Magic cruise this morning for the Feb. 4th 2006 Eastern Magic. We last went on DCL in January ,2004. We can't wait. Who else is joining us? Steve :bounce:

Bump. Anyone joining us. This cruise has gone up over $200 in the last 3 weeks. Only about a year to go. Steve

We're booked on the Feb. 18th Eastern but we're considering switching just because it's so much cheaper. So hopefully you'll have some others joining you soon!

Welcome Jengang, I think that Feb 18 is more because it is Presidents Day week. We looked at that also but it is too much of an increase. The 2/4/06 cruise even went up 300 dollars from early Jan/05 until we booked it at the end of January.

Hello, we just went on a Western on the Magic, 11-19 Feb 2005 and we had a blast. We (kyydd2000 and I) have been doing a lot of talking about booking again and it looks as though this date will be the one. Right now there are a lot of things being considered, including actually going on a Royal Caribbean cruise for the 18th but the cost is just way too much (according to my sweetie). She has been doing a lot of research and the last conversation I had with her was it looks like a Disney Cruise again (Woo Hoo) :cool1:

If it works out that we book for the 4th then I think it will be a blast again. We met quite a few people prior to our 1st cruise and we hung around with a few of them, great people they were. Too bad that there is an issue with kids being out of school in the US, we don't have those same issues here in Canada.

Welcome Mr Bill
Glad to see there won't just be a few of us on the ship. Are you anywhere near Niagra Falls? I spent alot of time there growing up.
Steve

Hi, There

We're going, too. This is our fifth Disney Cruise, second on the Magic, and first Eastern Caribbean. We booked the same stateroom (CAT 6) we had on our last cruise in October (Magic Western). A year before that cruise we joined a very active thread of fellow cruisers, two of whom had booked the Walt Disney Suite and the Roy Disney Suite. We were lucky enough to all be invited to a very nice party in one of the suites on Cozumel day...what fun! A year out is definitely not too early to start carousing with fellow cruisers. We felt like we all knew each other when we had our first rendezvous at the deck party, and we are still in contact with several people we met via Disboards. We look forward to doing it all over again!

Denise and John in Chicagoland

Well, hello all!!

My DH (MrBill) and I have just returned from our first Disney Cruise on Feb. 20th. (Western). Wow! We love it. We met wonderful people and wish we could be with them again but due to dollars, school and other family activities its very hard to try to arrange another cruise all together again. So I guess we will have to meet new ones and do it all over again! Woo Hoo!! :cool1:

We will be confirming our reservation this evening. Found a great deal through Dreams Unlimited so we better jump on it before we lose it.

We have two boys which will be aged 8 and 11 next cruise date. Any other boys that age out there???

Chat will you all later. Bye for now from Canada....brrrr.. two feet of snow and minus 10 degrees.

Julia

This will be our second Disney cruise. First was January 2004 on the Eastern. there will be at least 4 of us,maybe more. My son will be 9 when we sail and my daughter will be 10.5. Look forward to getting to know everyone. Steve

We (myself and Kyydd2000) live about 20 minutes from Niagara Falls, it is a small town, seems to be quiet, we have been here almost a year now. I mentioned to our two boys that you have kids and they have already placed dibs on them :scratchin Zachary said "I get the 9 year old and you Doug get the other one". Hmmm, it could have something to do with the fact that on the last cruise Douglas found a friend his age and they were gone 90% of the time.

We had an excellent time and really are looking forward to the next trip. Julia booked ours yesterday, got an excellent price and we got our stateroom number already, we decided that we wanted to have the same room as last but got the one right next to it. We did that for the boys because they have already got their minds set on that ::yes::

Prior to departure of our Cruise, the person who started our DIS thread, got information from everyone about their staterooms and compiled a list. Just before we left, she sent those who wanted to share their stateroom number, the list so that we knew who was where. Is anyone interested in doing the same for this cruise. We also met at 3:30pm on the day of departure at a specific location, it allowed us to put faces to names. She even went as far as booking a brunch for the adults in Palo's and it was excellent. I must give credit where credit is due, it was Jengang and she kept us all informed. I would like to do the same if everyone else is of the same mindset.

Glad to here you are coming. Funny, our soon to be 9 y.o. son's name is Zachary also. We are getting the same room we had last year on our forst cruise- on deck 7. I think it will be great to start a list of everyone going and information. We will have the four of us, and probably my in laws, brother and sister in law, their 5 y.o son and a 10 year old cousin. My daughter and their cousin are 2 months apart. Only about 11 months to go.

Steve

Wow, we have asked for the same room but got the room next door. Thought that was pretty cool. We are on the seventh deck too. Our stateroom number is 7012 are you guys anywhere near us??

You know it seems like a long way away but if you realize that summer is almost here, lots of gardening, swimming then its Halloween then Christmas then guess what........cruise time!!!

Does anyone know how often they change their theatrical itineraries? Do they show the same shows all year round? You guys that have done multiple Disney cruises should know this.

Have a good evening.

Julia

That's great. We are in 7001. Right down the hall. Hopefully this year will go fast. If your son Zachary wants to write back and forth with our son Zachary just let us know. By the way I grew up in northwestern Pennsylvania. Went to college in Edinboro, Pa-just outside of Erie.
Steve

Hi Steve and Tonya  ,
I guess you are down the hall on the other side just around the elevators. That is close. I spoke to Zac about writing back and forth to your son and he is absolutely thrilled to death! :bounce: Since he does not have an email he can use mine. It is jhamilton26@cogeco.ca

We are headed to Erie, Pennsylvania for next Wed and Thurs we are doing our second trip to Splash Lagoon indoor water park. The kids just love it....okay...so do we.. .LOL Last year we booked only one night and tried to do two but could not so we booked nice and early this year and did the two night thing.

Chat with you later,
Julia

Hey guys, Our Zack is excited also. Last cruise our daughter wrote back and forth with another girl and then they spent time together on the ship. They still write back and forth now. They didn't have that indoor water park in Erie when I was around back in the old days. I guess you would have to have an indoor park, otherwise people wouldn't get much use out of it. I'll try to get Zack to write soon. It will be good practice for school also.
Steve

Actually looked at the ships layout and lo and behold you guys are in the same hall. You are across the hall and down six doors. How cool is that!! Makes it easy for those late night parties. We wont have to stagger as far and it will be easier not to get lost....LOL

Julia

Hey Julia, :wave2:

Wanted to introduce myself. I am sure that my husband Steve has mentioned I hope LOL. :rotfl2: My name is Tonya. A little about myself, i am a stay at home that keeps very busy with PTA, home improvements, and just running our home. I also run my own business; I sell Herbalife Nutritional Products.

I am looking forward to meeting you guys, we knew a few people last time but nobody was close to our room like you guys will be. I am looking forward to some late night parties.

What do you do? Do you like to go dancing? I want to do more of it this time on the cruise but my husband (bless his heart) doesn't like to do much danicing he will go with me but he usually just hangs out with me. What kind of music do you like? I like all sorts whatever I am in the mood for!

Gotta go for now I have some PTA work to do.

Talk to ya soon :cool1:
