Three of the five staterooms that were waiting for numbers have gotten them. All are on deck 7 so far. Two more to go. Hope you get yours soon!

One more number needed from the Kings and then we're all covered with a stateroom. Yay!

That can happen. We have been upgraded 3 times in the past to a balcony at the last minute.

12 DAYS TO GO!!!




I can hardly believe we are less then 2 weeks now!!

We are heading out to Disney World for a few hours today. We wont leave until around 10 a.m. because it is very cold out this morning.

I am so excited last night DH booked us on the Southern Caribbean cruise 9/27/ 2014. WOO HOO!! 5 new ports we have never been to before. We have to fly to San Juan to catch the Magic for the cruise.

Right now the prices are as low as they will be so if anyone is interested book it now.
I am going to rebook it on board our crusie for the 10% off and room credit.


I sure hope the King family gets their number today!!

I am so excited last night DH booked us on the Southern Caribbean cruise 9/27/ 2014. WOO HOO!! 5 new ports we have never been to before. We have to fly to San Juan to catch the Magic for the cruise.

Right now the prices are as low as they will be so if anyone is interested book it now.
I am going to rebook it on board our crusie for the 10% off and room credit.

The southern caribbean cruise has such great ports! I know you will have fun on that cruise!

Enjoy Disney World today. It is a cold, nasty day here. It was raining now we are getting snow. Snow doesn't happen a whole lot here so the kids are flipping out lol. It isn't going to stick, temps are too high. Since it is so cold and nasty we are staying in and I am scrapbooking our WDW and Key West, FL vacation pictures.

Just got back from Epcot and had a good walk. It is a 3 day weekend so it was packed. All the parks will be packed all weekend.
It was very windy and cool today.

Now I am back on track for thinking about cruising!!

Tomorrow we will go for another walk but bundle up good since it will be a low of 32 in the morning. It wont be crowded for the first couple hours, expecially with the cold. I am ready for the warm tropical weather. Looks like we will be nice but not overly hot on our cruise which is ok with me.

Hi, Kathy. I just put a hold on the 10/11 Southern Caribbean. I could kick myself now though for not booking on opening day. I know the price went up. I originally didn't think we'd want the Southern Caribbean and booked Europe, but now my kids are thinking they won't like Europe. So I'm torn. Anyway, as I compared other cruise lines' prices for Southern Caribbean, Disney is really high. I don't know if I can justify the price, but I'll think about it for awhile I guess.

I am going to rebook the southern Caribbean on board the Dream so I will get an additional 10% off and $200 room credits. That helps the budget, plus we went for a Port hole ocean view instead of a balcony. I figure with a port almost everyday we wont be in the room much anyway.

You might want to rebook to for some savings.

I will pay something every month and then if we have to we can cancel or rebook later. But I figure this far out we can swing it. If not the refund will pay for a cruise on a different cruise line.

Too bad you didnt get the 9/27 like us, it might be fun to cruise together again.

Airfare is getting as crazy as gas prices!!

My DH travels across the U.S. once every 3 to 4 weeks for business and every other trip we have to pay the airfare. Last trip he used up most of his air miles to save us $$. This time we will have to pay about half due to air miles.

After we buy a home this spring and get settled he will look for another job because its just getting way to expensive to fly anymore.

Of course for the Southern cruise in 2014 we have to fly to Jamica. Its a short flight from Florida but still spendy. So I am saving all my change and one dollar bills just for that cost. I started saving about 6 months ago and hadnt decided what it was going for this year but I think it will pay for airfare to Jamica.
Plus I have a cash back credit card I use for everything and then pay it off every month, so no interest to pay. I have almost $200 cash back on it right now, so by cruise time it will be several hundred and will help alot with extra costs.
I always do that for cruises, even this one we are going on. Its like a savings account that I am adding a little to every time I have to buy something.

I also keep track of how much I save using coupons between paydays. Then every pay day I take out how much I saved and throw in the piggy bank.
Its amazing how quickly it adds up and you dont miss a little at a time.

Anyway with all of that I'm sure we will make it and pay for tips and excursion.

11 DAYS TO GO!!!



Good morning everyone.

Its in the upper 20's in most of Florida today. So if we go to Disney again today it will be closer to noon when we go. Since it's a 3 day weekend the parks are packed like peak season. But we just go, walk, people watch and have lunch or dinner before coming home. So the crowds wont bother us.

Once the crowds are gone next weekend we can do the attractions.

I hope the last family has got their room numbers by now, so I can get the last of my gifts marked where they are going so i can pack them in the suitcase.



Anybody else going to watch the Dream pullout tonight?

We're going to be getting into the 10 day forecast soon. I'll be watching it closely. It's 36 in Florida now but feels like 26. YIKES! I am going to have to wear jeans to church, as I have no dresses warm enough for this. I'm a Florida girl through and through!!!

Its 33 at our house in Davenport today and we are going out to WDW for a fe whours today. I went to my closet and guess what? I dont even own a warm coat anymore

So its a hooded sweatshirt over a short sleeve shirt???

So I got a few groceries and have been working on things for our cruise after this one.

DH is napping but when he wakes up he is going to help me with a nice spread sheet for the FE on the other cruise. He is good at stuff like that and I am not.

Looking forward to meeting everyone very soon.
