Feb 23rd Princess half marathon, plan suggestions

We are not participating in the half marathon. It is our last day in the parks for our trip, as we leave Monday to head home. Right now my plan is to go to AK at opening, ride whatever we can, then head to MK around 1:00 to use our fastpasses. Is that enough time for all the race stuff to be cleared out, traffic to be opened regularly and such? Would it be cleared out earlier then that? We have never been down during a race before so have no clue what to expect! Our fastpass day is tomorrow so I figured I'd ask before I get those booked. Thanks!

Princess half historically goes from Epcot to magic kingdom and back so it just depends where you are staying regarding travel delay to DAK

the run starts at 530am unless changes are made so while there may be an influx of runners waiting to do princess character meets the race would be well over around 1

With RotR you need to plan on trying Uber or Lyft at 6:00 - was he race closes part of it he road by GF and the later you wait the worse it will be. Plan for at least 30 more miles minutes delay

How about going from Pop to MK?
I heard that they would drop us off at TTC... would it be easier to take a Minnie van to wilderness lodge and boat to MK? We want to be there for rope drop (hoping to get advantage of the low crowds in the morning!)
