Okay-
Just totally revised our plans switching our dolphin program to Grand Cayman, which includes the Turtle farm, so where is a good beach in Cozumel?? Thanks guys!!

We are going to Paradise Beach. Chairs and umbrellas are free all they request is that you do purchase some food and drink. They have lots of floating water toys (cost $12.00 pp to use all day). They also have clean facilities with bathrooms/showers.

Welcome spygeocacher. You are more than welcome to join us at the DIS meet. Unfortunately we already had the cut off date to join the FE and most have already prepared and shipped gifts down to FL. You can post your info (family,names,ages,stateroom and state your from) and Shauna (Shinez) will add you to the roll call

Definately bring your FE. I too made a couple of extra gifts. My 2 DD's(Morgan 10 and Olivia almost 9) would love to meet Kaitlyn.

Most doing 1 or 2 drops. I know they have pin trading and I have seem some CM's wearing lanyards.

Welcome Aboard Michele and Michael! I'll update the Dismeet list, we have a ton of people, and even better, a ton of kids!! I have two girls, Maddie (13 March/8) and Amelia (10)-7th grade and 5th grade, plus Jakey, who is 6 and in Kindergarten- I have no idea what I am doing organizing this mixer, but I figure it would be something fun to do before the lifeboat drill... Are you packed?
Just tried on 50 million outfits, and will witle it down tonight...6 pairs of shoes so far...UGG!! Now if I only looked as cute in my bathingsuits as I do in my shoes!! So, who's all packed and just standing around doing nothing??

I'm definitely not sitting around doing nothing. I have clothes laid out in all the bedrooms, trying to decide what to take for everyone, except my husband, who is in charge of his own things, thank goodness! We're from Miami, so have a 4 hr. drive.

OK, I made it to my office. I really thought about taking today off, but there are a couple of things I really want to do before I leave. My office is being moved the day I get back, and I want to make sure that all of those arrangements are under control. Not moving far--just from the back of the building to the front, but right now I'm in a cubicle in a group space that I share with my boss and my secretary. The boss and I are moving to a more private space, which includes a new job title for me (Assistant to the Director). As with many government jobs, there's no more money, just more responsibility and more work.

I had to buy a bunch of new clothes for this trip because I've lost almost 20 pounds and my clothes were falling off. Not a bad thing, but I really wasn't aware that I had lost that much weight! In fact, today I'm wearing one of my new "cruise blouses". It's very bright and colorful, and I'm getting into the vacation mood.

As for socks...Jim and I bought enough new ones to last through the trip without washing, and they're cheap enough that we can just throw them out if we really want to. Gotta love those dollar stores!

Tonight I have one load of laundry to do and then finish packing. We don't have to worry about stopping mail or newspapers because the rest of the gang is staying home this time!

I did figure out how we're getting to the airport. Our cab driver friend is taking us and picking us up. This gives me about an extra half hour at home in the morning for all those "last minute panic" items. Our flight leaves at 12:15 PM, so we'll be having dinner in Florida tomorrow night.

Safe travels to anyone leaving today (and everyone else, too, of course), and I'll see you all on Saturday!

Yahoo! Got my flight changed so now I connect in Miami instead of Dallas. Yep, they had me routed BOS to DFW to Orlando!

It means I will land three and a half hours sooner; at around 5:30. This will give me plenty of time to repack for what I'll carry onto the ship (which is different from what I'd carry onto the plane...)

Can't wait to meet everyone!
