FEB 20, 2010 Western MAGIC Cruise

What is everyone doing after the cruise? I hate to even think about it, but I need to make plans
We don't even have plans on how to get back to MCO
Our flight doesn't leave until 5:30, so there's plenty of time to kill but not enough time (or inclination) to go to a disney park.

On the Saturday we dock, I'm going to do a ship tour to start working on my CLIA Master Cruise Counselor application. Then friends who are staying near Orlando will be picking me up. I'll visit with them for a couple of days and fly back to cold, cold Boston on Monday. I still have three days on a Park Hopper Pass and will probably try to hop through one or more of the parks on Sunday.

We are driving/parking a rental car at port. We don't fly back to NH until Sunday. We are probably going to Downtown Disney Saturday afternoon after we get off the ship.(That is IF they get me off the ship)

We're going back to WDW, staying at Pop Century for six nights. During that time, we don't plan to do much of anything. We'll be going to Epcot one day, and the rest of the time we'll just do whatever occurs to us. If the weather is chilly, we may add a day or two to our park tickets, but this trip is mainly about the two of us relaxing since we don't get much downtime at home!

Hillary- we, too, are leaving on Saturday...we leave at 3, though- I know that the hotel at the airport has dayrooms and you can use the pool there as well- I wanted to scoot up to Cape Canaveral, but don't think we are going to have time- If I was leaving later I would either head to Downtown Disney and shop/eat (our favorite is Wolfgang Puck Express followed by sundaes at Gheridelli!!) I think that we are just going to have to head back to MCO and hang out for 5 hours!!! Not happy- Limo company wasn't interested in trying to get us up to Cape Canaveral and back to MCO... but we still have time to plan, don't we!!
Was scrapbooking all day long, and now ready to totally veg out and get into my jammies!
Any other takers for linking Dinner tables for 2nd seating?? PM me!!

So excited... picked up all of my FE gifts today. Now to organize and figure out packing.

When I made our car rental ressies I wasn't thinking and set the return time too early. Our flight out doesn't leave until 5 pm so we could spend some time at DTD or Mini golfing. When I reprice the rental or run a new one the price is double!! Thinking about asking at pick up if we can extend our time. I really don't want to spend 6-7 hours at the airport.

First and foremost...Happy 40-something to me 'cause I made it through another year! Hubby got me a new computer and we went to a matinee and saw Avitar w/o kiddies!!!
Secondly, we have 1st dinner seating. My kids can't even stay up until 8 on a regular day. How am I ever going to get them to stay up until 10 for the pirate party?
Lastly, I love the idea of seeing the space center after the cruise! If not, we'll head over to Universal walk or DT Disney. I did call the MCO Marriott, they claimed that they're all sold out for 2/27, but for just $157 +taxes, we can get the hotel for a night. I guess if a snow storm is predicted in NH, this will be a good solution. Why is transportation such a pain???

Happy Birthday Hillary!!

Karen!! Such organization!! LOVE it!! I went thru DIS withdrawal yesterday scrapbooking, then came home and David took MY laptop to his parents to edit some imovies he took of the kids on the slopes- he said the wind chill was at least -15... brutally cold!! Face it, to me, once it gets below 40, its all cold to me!!
I HAVE GOT to get some cleaning done today or David is going to serve me!

I have seen it in the regular theater and in 3D, it is a must to see in 3D.

We saw Avatar in 3D and it was great! Hubby saw it a few weeks ago in IMAX 3D and said it was awesome! Sometimes I forget how much I like going to the movies instead of sitting on my sofa wasting away
I finally got Hubby to commit to an after-cruise plan. We're going to rent a car at the cruise terminal and head over to the Space Center and see some big rockets. Hopefully the kiddies will enjoy it. The last time I was there was 1979-ish and our luggage was stolen from our rental car. Ahh the memories from childhood
I had child #1 try on summer clothing. I guess he grew. Tomorrow it's off to the mall and Target to buy some more clothing for him.
