One quick question...the names listed with two staterooms - are there one set of parents and you just have adjoining rooms? I dont want to come up short on a gift for the parents.

Here I am in the land of snow and ice and vanity plates. I was driving yesterday, thinking about how excited I am to get out of dodge and I passed a mini-van with the license plate DISNEY+
I think I'm going to make matching t-shirts for the family...not actually sew them but design them. I'll send pictures if they are good.

Just came back from Old Navy and purchased 'matching' t-shirts in lavender for the girls, my mom and I - and the boys are wearing white polos for our onboard shot- kids pocket v-neck ts are 2 for 10! Karen...my mom is Big Jane, and is referred to as 'Ammy' , would never be classified as a 'grandmother' - to wild and crazy! Just bought a ton of stuff for FE... now need to organize! Ugg! Can't wait to get warm!!

By the way... we Mainahs love vanity plates, too! Mine is '2dbeach' !

Did I mention that we can't get a reservation for Palo? Haven't been able to for weeks. I even asked my TA to check for me...no luck. I guess that I'll check when we arrive. If still not available, I put the $$$ towards something else like a massage - they're about the same price
I hadn't heard about the price drop. I'm sure my TA will be thrilled to hear from me again. Any suggestions on what gift to give her? Something from the Caribbean?

So glad I'm not the only one who makes their family wear matching shirts! I made these for our last trip to the world. Super fun and easy! I think we will probably wear them again if the kiddo's shirts still fit.

Thanks, I have to admit I was pretty pleased with myself after this project.

Since then I've made a few and sold them on Etsy because I just love to make them. Plus then I find more people to chat with about Disney.

Here are the instructions however I used plain (unflavored) dental floss instead of string because it is stronger. I also fold/twist my shirts and band them before soaking in soda ash. If you have any questions let me know.

From what I've read there are no hard and fast rules. Its kind of up to you as to how often and what. This is what I'm planning to do.... On one of the days (not sure which one yet) I plan to deliver a small gift for each kiddo and on a second day I plan to deliver a one family gift per group. But I think whatever works for you is fine. This is my first exchange so hopefully what I'm doing works for everyone. I can't image bringing a gift for each day. I'd need more luggage!

I am doing the same as Holly- 2 different drops on everyone's FE- I have so much FE stuff to sort out, I am SOOOO going to have to send a package ahead! Eek!

Yikes I do not know what I am doing. I have bought so much stuff, I did go out and buy more luggage. I now have to sort it all out and make a drop off plan. I guess it depends on how much I have and how many people end up in the FE before I decide how many times I will be walking around the ship I did have to check with our airline to make sure how many bags we were allowed. And in the town car we are being picked up in to go to port. This is going to be so much fun!!! Now I have seen the t-shirts, I want to try and make those too. So many projects, so little time!!! Time to get off the computer and get to work. LOL

I am offically a crazed DisAddict- not only am I addicted to reading and posting, but now I have become crazed about those darn smilies in my posts!! What The!?! OKAY- so, in all this reading I saw that some Dis-meeters are coordinating with their groups to have the same dining rotation- Is this too much togetherness?? Not like we have to eat at the same tables, but to eat in the same restaurant rotation so we can wave our forks at Jim and Beth... So.... Miss Crazypants is asking...any takers? Anything to avoid doing real work!! Post, email or PM me your thoughts!
