FEB 20, 2010 Western MAGIC Cruise

We are also booked for this cruise. Last year on the same cruise figured try again.

Last year DS was 3, he actaully gets on the internet and opens the Disney Cruise Web site to see the ship.

Can't wait

Anyine else travelling with a solo child the same age?

My DH and I will be on this cruise and we are traveling without
children. This will be our first Disney cruise and we will be celebrating
our first anniversary (belated).

Hope to see you all on the cruise!

Tina

Hi everyone, we will also be on this cruise to celebrate a wedding anniversary and our DS(17) graduation from High School. DD who is 4 will also be with us. This is our 3rd Disney cruise

Welcome to all the people who have recently joined this cruise! I'm starting to get excited about it now. I'm in the process of planning our stay at WDW after the cruise--it's our "return to reality" time.

We're an older couple traveling without kids, celebrating a slightly belated 37th anniversary (Dec. 30 is the real date), and celebrating DH's 60th birthday, too.

We'll be at the Hyatt at the airport the night before. If anyone else is staying there, maybe we can arrange to meet!

Hi all!
Greetings from the great State O' Maine! We're headed out with you all for some R&R- my mom(71), DH (45), my two girls (just a week shy of 13 and 10.5) and son (6.5) - Staying in Cat. 4 two connecting rooms- any good tips to share on making it extra special? Thanks!! See you when the snow flies!:cheer2::cheer2:

Now that the busy summer at the Jersey Shore is over I can finally get excited about this cruise! We've finally completed most of our plans. We had planned to go to a Wilderness Cabin for three nights after the cruise, but for the same amount of money (almost:lmao:) We're going to Pop Century for six nights with the dining plan! Now I just have to arrange to get to Florida and get back again and I'm all set.

I like seeing the numbers on my countdown getting smaller!

We just booked this cruise. We did the 4 day Wonder Cruise 3 years ago.

Me, DW, DD 14(she'll be 14 on the first day of the cruise), DD 11, DD 7, DS 4, :cool1:

been telling her that it might be a nice idea to see if there was anyone that she might chat with before we go that would be her age. My DS turns 10 during the cruise.

Looking forward to "meeting" others that will be there as well :yay:

We'll keep that in mind. We aren't telling our kids about the cruise until, at least, Christmas so once they know I can get her on here to chat :)

Hey,

Congratulations on the proposal (and I'm guessing by the "FH" that you said yes!)! Which cruise were you on? I did four nights on Wonder in May, too. I cruised on May 17, and I was with a rather grumpy friend. I couldn't wait to book another cruise with DH so that I could really enjoy myself!

I agree. It's always fun to meet people you've been communicating with for a while. On my last seven-night cruise there was a large group of DIS'ers. We even planned a bridal shower for one of the ladies in the group who was having a very small wedding on board. We had a blast!

I finally got my Palo reservations made, and, for the first time Jim and I will be doing High Tea. Of course, we're also doing dinner and brunch. Now I have to think a bit about excursions for the ports. Jim and I need to find some time to sit down and look over all of the opportunities. Maybe this coming weekend with the holiday would be good!

I really need to pay attention to what I'm doing...I meant to answer this in my last post, but I was suffering from "internet deprivation". I spent last week on a business trip and didn't have internet access except through my cell phone!

If anyone is interested, I would be willing to plan a simple meet--nothing fancy! I've done it before for a few of my cruises. If you're interested, post here, or send me a PM and we'll see what we can do. I'm in "real planning" mode now since I made my Palo reservations.

I'm also trying to get Thanksgiving organized, and Christmas planned. It will be the first Christmas for my grandtwins! Before long, I'll be planning THEIR first DCL trip--probably in 2012, when they will be three years old.
