As we boarded we were announced. The ship was gorgeous, sunny and bright. It took a couple of days to adjust to aft and bow. It was 1:20 so we dropped out carry ons and changed into shorts. Rooms are ready around 1:30. We met sharon our stateroom hostess. She was great and always available We had an inside stateroom 6571. A little tight but as long as I kept up with the mess we were okay. Brought over the door shoe bag. Very helpful and it made it easy to find stuff. Should have brought lanyards for key to the world cards to be hung around neck. Kept cards in waist packs or wallet ds9 kept forgeting his card. Brought a night light too. Should have brought hair dryer. Theirs was lousy.Went to topsiders for lunch. Nice selection of hot & cold buffet with dessert bar. Had shrimp, of course. The staff wore latex gloves and poured drinks of lemonade, ice tea and fruit punch. Beverage station located between mickey's pool and topsiders, deck 9 aft. Help yourself to coffee, tea, water, milk lemonade and ice tea. At 4:00 we were ready for the safey drill then up to goofy's pool for the sailaway party. Disney knows how to party. Registered at the Oceaneer's lab and received a beeper for Peter (9) and got a bahama mama.

What cruise are you on in October? My DD8 an I are on the 4 night Wonder on the 19th.

We are on the October 25th Western.

The room is quiet and close enough to the laundry where you can easlily go back and forth. I haven't had time to write the rest of the report. sorry. The room is also a great location to go anywhere. We rarely used the elevators because it is quicker to walk. Do not over pack if there are 4 of you staying in the room. The suitcases fit under the beds. Bring coat hangers. I brought some and I still did not have enough. The aren't many drawers to put clothes in. There is a light in the closet. The loveseat turns into a bed and a berth comes out of the ceiling. It has a bar across the top bed and a ladder. Sometimes at night the ladder would vibrate against the bed from the vibration of the ship. I did not feel any motion from the ship at all, but could feel vibration from the motors. On the pool deck, you could hear the ventilation system at quiet cove pool. They would play soft jazz, but the constant noise from the ventilation system was like sitting next to an airconditioner. You do get use to it.
