Feb 14th - school holiday

I think someone mentioned before that Monday, Feb 14th was a day off for the California kids and that the parks may be busy. Is this correct?

yes, it's Lincoln's Birthday holiday. our entire school district is off. i don't know about others.

So would Legoland be a completely packed?

Our DD17 will not be off. She has off 2/18, 2/19 & 2/22. A Friday, Monday and Tuesday. Not sure how they figured that but it is what it is. I do know all the schools around here have various days off for Presidents week. I really don't think that 2/14 will be that crowded. Just MHO.

We went over that weekend in 2003 because our kids are off here in idaho as well and we didn't wait in lines hardly at all, it was also alternating between sprinkling and strong showers the most of the time, but we just wore light jackets and were fine. I would go at that time again.

my 14yo DD has both 2/14 and 2/21 has school holidays in 2005 ... don't know how crowded DLR will be as a result ...

As for Legoland, I heard they were going out of business, is that true???
