You should be able to get the fuel charged kicked without a problem. Our TA did it with one phone call. Because the prices have not changed, Disney just took it off our reservations. It wasn't like we had to re-book or reshop our reservations or anything. So, it sure wouldn't hurt to try!

I agree - I expected there to be a ton of people booked by now as it is Mardi Gras week too.

We chose this week because it falls into our UK school holidays, but we did not want to spend this week in the crowded WDW parks during our trip to Florida ........ we will be doing Orlando the week before.

Not sure I can get the fuel reduction other than in an onboard credit as my booking has a discount from doing an onboard booking on our last cruise. Think we may forego this if we "rebook" at the new price ...perhaps I should approach DU and see if that is correct.

I had an on-board booking discount and credit and they switched it out for me without a problem.

Our whole crew (bout 18 people) that has been cruising yearly rebooked for this week because of school concerns. We did the fish extender for the Jan 24th 09 western and we LOVED it! Our team is in for FISH EXTENDER!

just off the 2/14/09 magic cruise!!! superb weather. we rebooked for this week next year. it will be myself, liz my dd9 (at the cruise time). St Martin and St Thomas were great!! we did fish extenders so count us in for this cruise.

I just switched our 1/16 cruise to this one yesterday..decided it wasn't worth $1800 more for one cat 6 - so we'll be in 2 sideways cat 11 for a couple hundred less.. I don't care though - I'm hoping for warmer weather and getting out of Cleveland for half of February is truly pricless! So excited! WE went on the 4day in 2003 and loved it! We have DS 13, DD 11, DD 2. Now I'll actually be looking forward to February!

I got my masters the easy way many (many!) years ago - I started before we had kids and finished my last course the semester I gave birth. I have tremendous admiration for teachers who teach all day, are wives and moms AND go to school at night. Good for you!

awww garwsh. thanks. this is i think the biggest challenge i have ever undertaken. Only 6 credits to go! (12 weeks) 3 months. then i get my life back. but when summer hits a few weeks later it'll be heavenly.
I'm planning a loooong august trip with DD (considering a 3 day cruise over using weekend points in the middle) before next school year starts.

Hi, welcome! - how old are your girls? My DD will be a junior in high school on the cruise, she'll be 17. We are in a category 10 also, but I opted for deck 2 for ease of getting off/on without elevators. The 10s on deck 7 are nice , we've stayed there before. They're all in one cluster at the front of the ship. The inside room is absolutely fine (we've done both). The girls will love how dark it is inside! They can stay up all night in the club and then sleep all morning. We were at WDW Presidents week, too.... seems we think alike!
