Me - 38 (14th trip to WDW in 14 years)
Wife - 38 ((14th trip to WDW in 14 years)
Daughter - 9 (10th trip to WDW in 9 years)
Daughter - 3 (4th trip to WDW in 3 years)
Mother - 63 (5th trip in recent years)
Father - 64 (5th trip in recent years)
Hotel - Beach Club
Dates - Feb 11th - 19th
We (my wife and kids) decided to go back to the MK in the morning after breakfast because we left the MK early to go in the pool the day prior. I knew the MK would start getting more crowded later in the week as it got closer to President's weekend.
We had breakfast in the BC at the Cape May Cafe. We had done this before on previous vacations. It was very good as usual.
Goofy, Chip and Dale come to your table and Minnie greets by the front.
We went to MK until about 3:00 then came back to the BC to change for dinner at Epcot. We met my parents at Epcot. We walked to Test Track and got fastpasses for later.
We had dinner PS at Alfredo's at 5:00 pm. Alfredo's was good. The food was good and we had a nice waiter. The only thing I dislike about Alfredo's is the seating. They really pack you in there.
After dinner we watched the Tapestry of Nations Parade in front of Italy. I really love this parade. We saw it last year too. The performers really interacted with my 2 kids. One (the butterfly) even let my older daughter pull the strings to make the wings flap. She got a big kick out of that.
We headed for Test Track next. I wanted both my parents to go on it but my father didn't go because of his back. He has a bad back and didn't want to risk it. But my Mother went on which really surprised me. She closed her eyes the whole time we went outside. She liked the ride up until that point.
We also went on JIYI and SE before walking around the countries. We stopped at the ice cream cart in between Future World and World Showcase. Me and my older daughter got a Goofy bar, yum
Chocolate ice cream covered in caramel and chocolate. We got them each day we were at Epcot or MGM. The MK doesn't sell them there. My wife got the Mickey bar and my younger daughter go the Itsakadoozie ice pop.
After that we walked around the countries and watched Illuminations from the bridge near the International Gateway. It was great as usual. We walked back to the hotel for the night.
Coming next day 6... MGM and MK
