We had breakfast reservations at Donald's Breakfasarus in the Animal Kingdom at 9:30.
It was good but not great. We had eaten there a few years ago and it was better than.
After breakfast we headed straight to the Safari. It was about a 20 minute wait so we got a fast pass and went on It's Tough to be a Bug.
The safari was good. A lot of the animals were out. It was very hot and sunny that day.
Our 3 year old was getting tired and cranky and everyone else was hot and tired so while the 3 year old slept in the stroller my parents rested on a bench while our 9 year old played in the Dinosaur playground.
We went on the Kali river rapids next because we were so hot and we were going back to the hotel to change for dinner at Palios. No one cared if they got wet. Everyone went except for my mother. This was the 1st time we went on. We were at the AK before but it wasn't hot enough to go on. I sat next to my 3 year old and we were the one's
who got soaked !
She cried immediately. She wasn't scared of the ride because she already went on SM and BTMRR and loved them. I think she got shocked from the water, she didn't expect it. It was a good ride but too short.
We left after that around 4:00 to go back the hotel. We had dinner reservations at Palio's at 6:00.
Thinking back now we didn't do that much at the AK that day. I think the heat had a lot to do with it. We had been there twice before and did everything, so we didn't miss anything.
We had eaten at Palio's 2 years ago and didn't get a chance to last year. It was very good then and I was looking foward to it.
The food was great. The strolling musicians came to our table for about 4 songs. He was taking requests and since we are Italian we had no problem coming up with songs. My father really enjoyed it beacuse he sang with them for every song.
After dinner we walked to the Boardwalk and rented a Surrey bike for all of us. We went from the Boardwalk to the Beach and Yacht Club and back to the Boardwalk a few times. My wife, myself and my kids had done this once before but it was better with more people.
We took the boat from the Boardwalk back to our rooms after that.
Coming next day 4... Magic Kingdom
