Anyone have some suggestions for someone VERY afraid of flying? I have always been a nervous flyer...I know logiacally, it's safe, and I love to travel so I just make myself do it...
...but I haven't flown since 9/11...(and my DH was flying on 9/11 last year - he was on a United flight from Newark to SF that departed about 1 hour prior to United flight 93 from Newark to SF that crashed in PA. Needless to say, it was very stressful trying to reach him and making sure what flight he was on). We were planning on a trip to WDW that OCt. and I had to cancel because I couldn't get on a plane...
Now, we are going this OCt., but I am VERY nervous about and I am afraid I am going to have a panic attack on the plane.
Any suggestions for me (I am flying with my DH and our 3 tiny children - ages 8 months, 2 yrs , and 4yrs). I'm wondering if I can take something, but I can't be completely incapacitated because I need to take care of my children....
HELP! Thanks.
