FE Question

I saw a pic of a FE once that had ribbons attached that had the info (ship & dates) of past cruises on them. (Can't find the pic).

This will be our 2nd cruise and I am wanting to add ribbons indicating our previous cruises.

Question: How do you get the info onto the ribbon. (info such as "Dream June 1 - 8, 2010")???

I haven't done this, but you could take the ribbon to shirt making place that embroiders...they may be able to do it.

What a great idea! You can print on ribbon at home. Full instruction here: http://asthecardrackturns.blogspot.com/2011/10/how-to-print-on-ribbon.html
Basically: Using Word (or similar) type what you want to say in the size and font you like and print out on regular paper. Tape your ribbon over the printing using double stick tape and run the paper through the printer again the same way you did the first time. I haven't tried this my self yet but have had friend do it for scrapbooking and it has come out very cute. Good luck!

You can also order personalized ribbon online, just Google "printed ribbon" or "personalized ribbon". This is one I found:

I would just tie it onto the pole that you put across the top of the FE....I like this idea a lot....Wondering how the ribbon would look on our new duct tape fish extender though....

I bet you could do the same thing with a piece of duct tape and make a "ribbon" out of that!

Or fabric glue.

Don't forget to heat the ends of the ribbon so it won't fray.

Hmm.....that's a good idea...we still have to go buy letters to label our pockets....The DIS costs me so much more money...
