FE LIST - Disney Dream 8th July 2012

I think 2 weeks should be plenty of time. And our DD13 will be going to the kids clubs for sure.

Will she go to Edge or Vibe? - My 12dd will go to Edge and my ds13 and dd14 will to the Vibe. Would be good to get them all to meet up before the official teens meet then they have someone they recognise at the clubs.

Bingo is an Australian Labradoodle.

Because people will ask about Bingo.

Normally I let "little kids" & other folks in wheelchairs pet him. But when its a ship Full of kids i don't let anyone.

He works for the "petting" that i give him. If i let everyone pet him, He wont work for me. (sorry)

I'm a trainer of Service dogs.

For FE "gifts" Toys are always good lol. He cant have "food" of any type. (his tummy)

Hi, the FE is Fish Extender, there are 2 links under our date - go to the other one and that is the official meet group, the FE is people on that group that want to take part - buy/make gifts etc, look at the links on the top of this post and you will see what it is. I am also single parent travelling with 3 tweens/teens, so excited there are quite a few kids on the group, but compared to other groups this is a fairly quite one. But go to the other link and say hi too.

Hi, I think we should officially close the list now, too late to add newcomers in especially with people leaving at different times for the trip.

SO LIST CLOSED - YEAH this means the cruise is getting nearer

I definitely want to get the kids together for at least a quick meet before the official clubs - so it should be on day 1 - I have never been on the Dream so have no suggestions - somewhere near the clubs then if they want to go in there together they can?
Before or after sail away party? = any ideas anyone?

I'd say after the sail away party before dinner. Maybe we can meet on deck 5 since that seems to be where most of the youth clubs are. Say somewhere central like in front of the Lake Buena Vista Theater?
How does that sound to everyone?

sounds like a great idea. Is this before the early dinner? I have never done a Disney cruise so I don't know what time the sail away party is but I know we have early dinner. But I would like my 9 yo daughter to meet some friends too.

Yeah, Ive never been either so Im not sure but Im hoping we will have at least 15 minutes to meet up. I did hear that if you're a few minutes late to dinner its not a problem so we will just keep it short and sweet

Hi, was just looking at other threads where people have met and best time seems to be straight after the muster drill and before the sail away party. As everybody has to go to the muster drill at the same time it makes sense. What do you think? If so then I suggest the Wave Bar - apparently there is a lot of space there and then people can go off to the sail away party and the kids can arrange to meet up at the clubs later. Let me know if you think this is a good idea.
