Welcome Katrina to you and your family!! Your son is in luck, there are kids his age on the cruise and the FE. To join the FB group you need to friend the DISer who started the page: Aimee Gromowsky (aka DisneyDeux)... once you FB friend her... she will invite you to the group and then you can unfriend her if you wish. Cruisers have been starting to do penpals for some of the kids, so maybe you can look into getting involved in one of those. It is a closed FB group page so you need to be invited in. Welcome to the cruise and to the FE!!

Hi I am the organizer of the FE, so you just tell me I take it you are on this cruise (July 20-27, 2013)... if so you just put in a post on this thread your info and I will add you to the exchange master list. We will keep the exchange open until likely June and then close it. We currently have 21 cabins participating. If we get too big... we might decide to split in half.. but that is a decision for later. Info that I need to put you in the list:

Cabin ## (if you know it yet)
Names of who will be participating from your party (genders and ages of kids)
any food allergies or concerns people should be aware of (peanuts etc)
Any special celebrations

See the very first post for all the juicy details about the FE and the second post for who is participating so far. This is my first FE too so please feel welcome to join, there are no hardcore rules besides spreading a little magic and having fun with fellow DISers. If you are interested we also have a facebook page going for the cruise meet group (not just the FE folks). Let me know if you have any other questions.

Welcome to you and your family Kari... just a quick questions, is everyone over 21? I usually ask for the ages of any kids because it helps folks come up with age appropriate gifts. Glad you could join.

This rest of this post applies to everyone and not just Karmadow... There is a link to a google spreadsheet in the master list in the second post. If you are interested there is also a Facebook page going, and several of the parents have their kids writing pen pal letters to each other as a way to get acquainted before the cruise. The info has been listed in this thread somewhere already, but please feel free to message me for more information (just click on my name in the post).

Someone asked me this, so I wanted to clarify... that I do not actually supply you with a Fish Extender, you must come up with that on your own. See the first post for links ... but don't stress over it... your FE can be a simple as a tote bag... made out of duct tape... elaborately embroidered and handsewn... or just bought off of etsy and ebay. Which reminds me... I got to get working on mine. -Stephanie
