FD with AP?

I have a Disney Visa and I also have an AP. Can you do a free dining package without buying a ticket?

I called and asked for our FD package and was told everyone on the ressie needs a 1 day base ticket. You can then use it to get a credit towards the AP.

No, even with having an AP you would still need to buy atleast a 1 day base ticket in order to get FD.

Not a ticket for each day of the vacation....just a 1 day base ticket. But EACH PERSON on the ressie has to get a minimum of a 1 day ticket.

Free dining is not available with any reservation other than a full price room/tickets package. The ticket can be as little as a one-day base park ticket for everyone but you must buy some sort of ticket. No free dining available on an AP room/dining package.
