FD to FL res ticket?

Trying to work out options for a complex group that is visiting next fall. I should know this, but I'm doubting myself!

We currently have a free dining bounceback booked. By the time of the trip, two of the three room occupants will be (non-resident) AP holders. The third is a FL resident.

If I keep the FD room, but drop down to 2 day hoppers, can the FL resident "upgrade" that FD ticket to a 4 day FL resident offer? At present, the cost is less than the 2 day PH. I know not to expect a refund - but will they let her do it if she is okay "overpaying?" I think it will still be less expensive than her purchasing her food for those days.

Thanks!

Once package tickets are available to guests, each ticket can be upgraded individually.

It is generally not allowed for tickets to be "downgraded," but in this kind of case,
it is likely that you will be able to do that kind of trade.

(If the CM offers a bit of Pixie Dust, you MIGHT even get the difference price refunded on a gift card.)

Thanks, Robo! In general, I know it can be done and I've done it in the past. It was throwing the FL resident ticket - and the "downgrade" - into the equation that left me a bit uncertain. Appreciate the reassurance!
