FD Pin Code Today

FYI, looks like Disney is starting to extend the free dining into later dates in 2012. My wife got a pin in her email today for FD for select dates 3/4 through 3/31 and 4/15 through 6/30.

One thing I noted: it's for free QSDP at Values AND Moderates, and free DDP at Deluxes and Deluxe Villas. Not sure if this is a departure from the norm for PIN codes. The public offer is usually DDP at Moderates and above.

Anyway, unfortunately we can't go during these dates and are hoping for a Fall FD offer. But, maybe this is a positive sign for those of us hoping for FD later in the year! :

oK."..yep...it is valid, but if ya want TS, even with a moderate resort, ya gotta pay the $15 pp/pd upgrade fee. With our addiction to character meals, this is a no-brainier though.
Sooooo....how miserable is the Orlando heat/humidity during the world the first week of July!? Worse than Houston's?!

Yes, If you get the offer, just check in by June 30th, and your good-to-go!

I just got it too... my very first pin code! Even though I can't go this year, hopefully I'll continue to get some in a year where I can go

Question, if you have a reservation already , are you less likely to get a PINCODE???? I could really use one.... If FD is available, I might change my resort which of course then changes my ADRS---

I'm not sure ANYBODY knows the correct answer to that one.
I just booked my daughter and her family a trip a few weeks ago, plus we did 3 trips in the past 13 months, so...just no telling. We had about decided to do an OOP dining trip before this came, so now I'm trying to shuffle some calendar events around here to take advantage of the FD.

Disney is not "extending" any current free dining deals. Email pin codes are random, name-specific and non-transferrable and have nothing to do with general public offers. There have been pin codes in the past that have offered only Quick Service Free Dining for value, moderate and even deluxe resorts.

Disney has never had a general public free dining offer in April or July. They have, only one time, had a couple of FD dates in May and June. I seriously doubt that the FD offers that come out within the next couple of months cover any spring or early summer dates. There is always a possiblity that they may offer a few dates like they did last year, but I don't think it will be blanketed dates like they have in late summer and early fall.

You are no more likely or less likely to get a pin code if you have a room-only reservation. And, if you are looking for a FD code, and only have a room-only, you would have to completely cancel that reservation and make a new one anyway.

We are planning our 10th trip and I have NEVER gotten a pin code before and would LOVE one! We are going during those dates and I am considering adding the dining plan. Would love to get it for free!

On a completely unfair note, my sister who has only gone twice in her life and for whom I booked the trip, has received 2 pin codes within the last 3 years.

Only if you check in on June 30. If you don't show up until July 1 they'd consider you a no-show and you may not have a reservation at all when you get there.

I spoke with a CM today and told them that my friend had gotten a code and he checked and said that it was valid.. However, he said that we would have to cross reference them and would need their name, address, phone and reservation number to put into the system. With that said, she is already traveling with 3 families and was told that was the max allowed to connect to one pin code. Now, if anyone is reading this and has a FD code and is going to be there for a time that overlaps June 2 -9th and wants to PM me, if would be very much appreciated. This is our first trip in 6 years ( I have cancelled 3 due to finances ) and I am a single mom in the mortgage industry in AZ. Anything would help. Thank you sooooo much
