FD, 1 day base & Fl. resident ?

I am meeting my friend who lives in Tampa for a few days at WDW. I put 1 day base tickets on our FD package because I already have an old ticket. My question is this, will she be able to apply that 1 day base ticket price towards the purchase of a Florida resident multi-day pass? I know that you can upgrade to regular passes, but not sure if you are allowed to get a discounted ticket when you book the package.

I know I can call guest services if need be, but I usually get an answer faster here - and more accurate information!

Yes she should be able to do that. I am a Florida Resident and I have used my one day pass for the past 2 years to upgrade to a Florida Resident SEASON pass. And depending on the length of your stay, the season pass could be cheaper than her length of stay pass. Worth it to check it out.

Thanks for the information. We are only staying 3 days, so the 3 day pass is perfect for her. I spoke with a CM about this and she said "yes", but it's nice to hear from experience that this is true.
