FCC license question for GMRS radios

We just applied online for our FCC license to legally use our GMRS radios at WDW.

Does anyone know how long it takes the FCC to process the application and send us our license? We're planning to use them on our next trip in May.

Also, is there a strict protocol about using the "call signs" while communicating or can we communicate casually, as with FRS? We will mainly be using them in WDW.

I do not think the licensing is really enforced to any degree, nor is there really any protocol, just talk, hope you get a clear, unused channel. Enjoy the trip.
