Hi All - we have never done a FCC or any cruise line so not sure how it works. We are cruising in September and i want to get a FCC to book something in May of 2024 but that window isn't open yet. Do i have to use the FCC within a certain timeframe or can i just leave it open until Disney releases those sailings? Also from reading i can just buy the FCC on the disney app once on-board? Thanks.

What you book when you are onboard is referred to as a Placeholder (FCC is something else entirely). You pay a refundable $250 deposit and must sail within 24 months. Booking can be done through the app when you are onboard. The official information you need can be found here:https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/guest-services/future-cruise-onboard-offer/

Thanks so is it just one $250 deposit regardless of how many passengers? We are 2 adults and 2 kids. I imagine once we book then they will ask us for the remaining deposit?

Once you convert the placeholder to a reservation for a specific cruise, you will need to pay the additional deposit if the deposit is more than $250.

If you do not use the placeholder to book a cruise that sails within 24 months of the date the placeholder was purchased, your deposit will be refunded to the initial form of payment.

I think each home address in a stateroom can book 1 placeholder, but I am not sure of that.

Yes, the $250 deposit is for one room, not for each individual passenger. Once you book, you will pay the difference between the $250 and 10% of the stateroom price. If you don’t sail within 24 months, you will receive a full refund of your deposit from DCL.

The 10% deposit applies for cruises of 7 nights or longer. Less than 7 night cruises still pay a 20% deposit.

hanks so is it just one $250 deposit regardless of how many passengers?

Each address may book 2 placeholders for the same future cruise. Each placeholder is 1 stateroom. So if your family of 4 typically splits into 2 staterooms you'll need to purchase 2 placeholders.

so just to clarify i cannot buy 2 placeholders to use on 2 different sailings for 1 cabin each?
