Please tell me I am not seeing things? (I didn't get much sleep last night)
I went to the daily stip here:

and the cartoon is moving! The kitty is playing with the string and the girls eyes are blinking!
I have never noticed that before, is it new? Am I seeing things?

Nope, you're not seeing things! I always read the strip off my home page, which doesn't have the animation. I went to yesterday's strip too and it's animated too (blinking and such). Too cool.

Here is what the site says

"Animated Strips:

I think it is ok, but a bit distracting, I think I am a comic "purist"....lol

Yes it is distracting! But I like it in a weird way. Not so much the blinking but the kitty playing was a cute touch.
Glad I am not out of it!!!!
