Faxing Room Controller?

If I'm scheduled to arrive on Wednesday, Janaury 22, what day do I fax the room controller for the best results. I've seen three, four and five days in advance posted. Thanks in advance for the insight.

My understanding is that you would fax your request on Sunday. I did this for our trip in October and it worked perfectly. Good Luck!

I have read in several places that some people call their resort directly to inquire about their requests. Do any of you do that? Which do you feel is better? I wouldn't want to be a pest. We have listed our requests with our ressies but we always do that and we seldom get any of our requests.

According to Deb Willis' page, I would fax on Saturday but the poster above says Sunday.....which would get the best results?
