Faxing in Sept Event Form

Sometimes I am just too smart for my own good.

I decided to send my email from AOL email address...for those who email and are wondering....yes, I have an AOL address which <b>I do not use!</b> I have blocked all incoming mail on that address (since I was mostly getting obscene/porno junk mail), and have just a couple of "approved" inbound addresses.

The only reason I use the AOL address at all is that it is much faster, and more reliable, for emails with attachments.

So, of course, I use this email address to send in my registration info at 8:03 AM today.

And, of course, I never receive Event Services reply, because <b>they're not on my approved sender list! Duh! </b>

Well a couple of phone calls later...I needed to be reassured that if their reply to me was rejected they didn't delete me from the registration system...I have been told <b>my freakin' pintrading family is confirmed.

Well, I called and I am on the list! Hopefully it will work out for me to be there in September!

well it took 14 mins of redial this morning until I got through on the fax........so that was at 8:14 and it went through the first time I didn't get a busy signal...
now it's 2:25 and I'm on hold trying to confirm we got in,,,,,,,,,,

WOOO HOOOO 2:31 here and Kimberly says that Rick and Kathi got in!!
I will be sending out my check tomorrow with delivery confirmation ( she didn't say I had to, that is for my peace of mind )

never got an e-mail confirming our registration. Good think I also faxed... Just called and we are on the list.

So hopefully we get into the breakfast. Is it first come or do they put it in a lottery. Does anyone know..

I have an old fax machine, so the only way it works is if I baby sit it. I got up this morning before kids and had it set up and ready to go. While my daughter was eating, I tried faxing. When I realized I wasn't going to get through, I emailed. I got a response within 10 minutes of having emailed. Yea!

The internal fax in my computer is unreliable, so I e-mailed at 8:03 this morning, attaching a copy of the form as well as copying the form into the text of the e-mail in case they were virus-phobic about attachments. Got back a confirmation at 8:50. So now I can just worry 1) will they see there are two registrants (me and DD)? 2) will they see we are AP holders and want reduced registration fee? 3) will the breakfast really start at
7 a.m. (???!!!!) as someone said on another board?

I didn't take any chances on their knowing I have passes, so I made a point of putting on there to discount the tickets.
