Faxing for room preference???

I have been reading a few posts from people who have faxed a room preference to WDW. Whom (what number) do you fax and how soon before your visit do you do this?

We are staying at Port Orleans-R from Christmas to 12/29 and really want to be near the main building.

You fax the room controller at your resort about 4 days before you arrive. We have done this on 3 occasions and got what we wanted. We tend not to be too demanding though.

I thought I had the fax number for POR as we will be there in Dec. I don't but I think you can get it on Deb Willis' site www.wdwig.com.

Thanks for the link to the fax #'s. I faxed room requests last visit, and it worked well, so I plan to do it again and I was having trouble finding the fax number. Another thing I learned on this board !
