:cheer2: Hi all,
I just wondered what WDW tours you have been on?
What you enjoyed and any that weren't worth it?
We fancy doing somthing a bit different this year. DH is going to do the DiveQuest at Epcot and I fancy the Dolphins in Depth tour. The Backstage stage Safari at AK also sound good! What do you think?
:cheer2:

Thanks
:smooth:

Sorry, I have just thought. How far in advance do you book tours ? We are travelling in August. Have we left it too late???
:confused3

We are doing the segway tour and the backstage magic tour at Christmas. We booked our tours on Friday and got the dates we wanted. You can book tours a year in advance so I would phone soon.
Our friends who we are going to WDW with did the backstage tour last time and loved it so much they are doing it again with us this time. I would love to do the backstage safari tour at some point to. Perhaps on a future trip.

the KTTK Tour in MK and the Segway Tour in EPCOT. We enjoyed them both a lot. The KTTK Tour lasts longer (about 3 hours) and gives you in depth info about the MK; lunch is included and you get a nice pin at the end. The Segway Tour is more of a hi-tech adventure with only a little about the WS thrown in. This one lasts 2 hours with the 1st hour being used as a training period in Innoventions. The 2nd hour is spent cruising around the WS. This one also includes a nice pin at the end.
Both of these tours appear to be very popular. The Segway Tour goes off twice a day and only 10 people are allowed in each group, maximum.
You should be able to get a discount if you are a AAA member. There are also some other discounts available (AP, possibly Disney Visa, etc.).
I would recommend both for people 16 and older.

We've been on:
KTTK
Hidden Treasures of WS
Aqua Seas
Dolphins in Depth
Backstage Safari

We enjoyed all of them, our favorites were the 2 in the Living Seas, followed by Backstage Safari. All of them were included in whatever package we happened to be on at the time. I think all of them were worth it, although our least favorite was probably KTTK. We booked the tours about 4-5 months out; sometimes (like our Jan. trip), the dates weren't in the system, so our travel agent had to keep calling back until they were. I don't think you've left booking too long. I've written reviews of the tours we've taken, if you use search you should find them, if not I'd be happy to answer any questions:)
