if you could only eat at one proper sit down restaraunt for your trip which would it be.

i had been hoping on trying a few on my trip but everybodys hours have been cutdown stupid economic slowdown lol so unless i save extra hard i may only be able to try one or two. so which ones are not to be missed. also i have a 22 month old so would the menu suit her too. does she have to get a meal or can she just eat mine. im not sure she would eat a whole one herself? although she did eat my all my dinner last nite lol

This thread may be of interest to you as it's asking a very similar question, although it doesn't include the buffet restaurants.

Most restaurants have a children's menu which should be suitable for your little one.

If I could pick any 1 restaurant, then I'd have an impossible time I think. Given a choice of 2 though, I'd choose Inventions and California Grill, almost without thought. The only problem is, both of these are fairly expensive restaurants although Inventions is a buffet so you can eat as much as you like and make it extremely good value.

If I was choosing on a budget, then I'd probably go for something like cafe Mickey. It's reasonably well priced, there's quite a few things to choose from and provides a good meal, plus the characters who would pay your little one (and probably you ;) ) some attention if she's into that.

I think I'm going to try Cafe Mickey next time we go. I have to admit I like Annette's Diner, the food is always nice. Our little one is a similar age and she shared mummies food when we were there in June and neither of us went hungry. Just take some little snacks just in case :)

Good point.

If your concerned about menus for your little one, then you could always do what we do which is to take a packed lunch for them and give them that instead.

DB (10) has a very restricted diet (of his own doing) and so we always take some sandwiches, chocolate etc for him and the restaurant staff don't care at all.

I think under 3s eat free at buffet restaurants so this might be a good option for you

Walts would be my first choice and from what I've seen the kids meals are very good for LOs about the age of yours. Little vegetable dippers and pasta etc.

For me it has to be Annette's Diner, the menu is quite varied & reasonbly priced.
