what are your favourite entree's/desserts/food in general.. at:

50's Prime Time (Dinner)
Tusker House (Dinner)
Boma (Breakfast)
BOG (Dinner)
Beaches & Cream (Dinner)

all new to us. (well, we've done bog lunch)

would like to get a general idea of what I should order at these restaurants ! thanks dis'ers!

I second the fried chicken at 50's Prime Time. It's great. I hear they have a NEW peanut butter & chocolate cake that is supposed to be good.

50s Prime Time: fried chicken or pot roast (but I regret not ordering the stuffed pork chop, the server tried to talk me into it and a neighboring guest did order it and said it was fantastic), PB&J shake (or seasonal shake), My favorite dessert was the Boston Cream Parfait but it is recently off the menu.

Boma: eggs scrambled with goat cheese, bread pudding, bobotie and pap. Plus pastries.

BOG: potato leek soup, shrimp and scallops pastry, strawberry cream cheese cupcake.

B&C: the tomato bisque and grilled cheese, onion rings, frozen sunshine, No Way Jose

Been years since I did Tusker House dinner but I have done lunch last fall and liked the bread pudding, pork loin, samosas, cornbread.

I've only eaten at 50s. I have to say my favorite meal is a toss up between the fried chicken and the chicken pot pie. For dessert, I get the PB&J milkshake to go and enjoy it around HS.

Boma is a buffet, so I would recommend trying a little of everything (if possible) because you never know what you'll like! I really liked the frunch (juice), the bobotie, their version of the corned beef hash, and the quinoa.

BOG (Dinner) trying this is August; only had lunch here
Beaches & Cream (Dinner) great burgers, grilled cheese, onion rings, definitely No Way Joe for dessert!

The only one we've been to was BOG- the shrimp & scallop puff pastry- I don't like scallops so they did no scallops and doubled the shrimp- it was great! my ds- 6 at the time - liked it much better than his kids meal! He's planning on getting it when we go back in Nov.

I love the sampler at 50's Prime Time. It includes the fried chicken, pot roast and meatloaf. Also, the PB&J shake is a must. We were on the DDP and was allowed to order the milkshakes as our drink...so no extra cost for them!

I haven't done Tusker House or Beaches & Cream, but they are on my list of new places to try and have only heard great things about them. We are trying BOG for the first time this fall. I scored an 11:30 lunch reservation so we can't wait to try it!

I have only done Boma for dinner. Not sure about breakfast, but dinner was very good! We go there now every trip!

You should be happy with all of these! Great selections!!

I heard that the scrambled eggs with goat cheese is only offered on certain days, but fortunately, our server told us that they'll make it for you on request-I tried it and the did! I also love that bread pudding french toast stuff with warm pecan sauce.

BOG (Dinner) Shrimp in a lobster cream sauce on puffed pastry
Beaches & Cream (Dinner) Cheeseburger, onion rings, vanilla coke and No Way Jose
