favourite disney cd

I went on my first trip in May to disney ! I meant to buy a cd and forgot ... a friend is going soon and I mentioned it to her. I am not sure which one is the best what is your favourite one? Is there one specifically for wishes fireworks?

I love the Wishes CD and we also have a Magic Kingdom CD that plays music from the various rides and attractions. I love them both, now that I have seen Wishes so many times, I can visualize the fireworks in my head when the music is playing!

We love the "greatest hits" volume 1 and 2 - 3 is a bit of a let down. These are not exactly Disneyworld related - as they don't have wishes, but they have tons of songs from the disney movies and they are really fun.

Epcot: Reflections of Earth - It has the Illuminations music + Tapestry of Nations. Love the orchestral stuff!

I have the 50th Annv. CD. It is a 2 disc set. It has music from the rides and shows on it. I love it.

Mine is my compilation on my iPod. It is mostly background music in the parks. I bought a lot of them on iTunes (the ones by Yanni, David Arkenstone), some of them are from CD's bought in Disney. I listen to it everyday. It sooooo puts me in a great mood.

My favorite is probably the EPCOT Illuminations cd. The music is just incredible. Even though I have the cd, I go to see the show and get goose bumps every time. I also have a box set I found at a "media" store one time (Media Play) that is the Music of Disney. It's a blue box set with Mickey sitting at a piano. It's a three cd set that has some music from almost all of the movies as well as some music from the parks (including the music from the Electrical Light Parade). I just love it!

I love the Animal Kingdom Theme Park CD. It is sooo peaceful! Makes you feel like you are right there!

There is a CD of Wishes, I know it's sold at the Emporium on Main Street in the MK and at World of Disney in DTD. There is also a new CD out called "Wishes". It was released by Disney in conjunction with the Make A Wish Foundation. I bought the CD for my daughter at Sam Goody and she loves it. The last track is the song "Wishes", and the other tracks are all disney tunes that are about making wishes.

I love the 30th Anniversary Haunted Mansion CD. It basically goes through the whole ride and longer, gives lots of sound effects, voices, etc... Themes from Tokyo Disney and Disneyland as well. Very fun, especially for Halloween.

Gosh, I love them all. Wishes, Spectromagic, Illuminations, the one with all the parade music, the new 2-vol anniversay set. Fantasmic. Perhaps my all time fav is the Festival of the Lion King cd. I just love that show and the music!

Ahhhh....the 1991 Official Album. I listened to it incessantly while writing my thesis. That was just around the time MP3s became popular, and before I'd found Disney theme park music on Usenet.

The Illuminations CD is also great, but I prefer Dan S's live recording of it (in MP3!). The fireworks seem more impressive, and the crowd chatter at the beginning makes you feel like you're there.
