Favourite American Junk Foods

Have you thought about getting some groceries delivered to your resort?

this is exactly what we're doing. You can order your groceries online at www.gardengrocer.com before you leave and they will be at your resort when you arrive. Bell services usually have a fridge where certain stuff can be kept if your not in your room. I think the minimum spend is $40 and delivery charge of $12 for orders under $200. Its not as cheap as Walmart or Publix, but if you don't want to spend time in a supermarket its great.

I'm an American who has lived in the UK for 22 years, so I stock up on some goodies when we're there. My favourites are:

Peanut Butter M&Ms,
Combos,
Hershey Kisses,
Grape jelly,
Orville Redbacher microwave popcorn,
Chips Ahoy,
Cool Aid sachets,
Tins of Clam Chowder,
Fruit Loops,
Betty Crocker cake mixes,
Duncan Hines Brownie mix,
Big Red chewing gum,
Cinnamin Tic-Tacs

My father lives in Atlanta so sometimes sends us care packages in between visits :cloud9:

Love so many of the things already mentioned, especially Twinkies and Bud Light Lime.
I also get plenty of 3 Muskateers bars. Oh, and Publix own brand Key Lime Cheesecake is amazing.

I've noticed there are some shops in the UK which sell American food. It's really really expensive (like £7 for a box of Froot Loops :scared1:) but I can justify £1.20 for a can of Cherry Pepsi as an occassional treat!! The shops I've seen American stuff in are:

- Bentalls in Kingston
- Cybercandy in Covent Garden
- Longacres garden centre in Bagshot (Surrey)
- Stateside Candy Co. in Guildford (they also have an online store)

:thumbsup2

Our favourites are:

Twinkies
Ding Dongs
Cinnabon flavour Poptarts
Ranch flavour Lays Potato Chips
Minute Maid Cranapple juice
Mountain Dew (regular +Code Red)
Red Vines
Reece's Pieces
Cinnamon Graham Crackers

frozen cokes, hot pretzels, coke slurpees (at the 7-11), frozen yogurt...

and on our grocery stop, we have a difficult time not buying every kind of cereal there is....

oh and how could i forget one of our favorites: entenmans donuts....

it's a neverending list...

also reeses pieces, peanut butter M&Ms, reeses peanut butter cups, cinnamon graham crackers (forgot about that one)//

the list goes on...

Peanut BUTTER M and Ms are delicious!!! Every Christmas I ship some over for DW - costs more for the shipping than for the actual chocolate; but we love 'em!!!!

Also I forgot to add Jalepeno Cheezits to my list.

And in other news my local ASDA now stocks Hersey Kisses in lots of flavours, marshmallow fluff, goldfish crackers, Reece's miniatures and lots of Oreo flavours. Every visit I search invade graham crackers have arrived.

Hot Tamales, MM Pretzel, Cotton Candy Yoghurt, Sabor Latino Yoghurt

You guys are mean ;)

I'm an ex-pat, living in Canada and craving the US junk food (which is different from Canadian junk food)

I love peanut butter M & M's
Cinnamon jelly bears
Cinnamon crunch toast cereal (even better without the milk)
Hershey chocolate flavoured twizzlers
yoghurt covered pretzels

the list goes on......but at least I get the chance to pop to Buffalo, New York for a quick fix when I need one!

A few years ago we travelled around Arizona/Utah/Nevada, and got the most delicious jalapeno crisps at the Grand Canyon, but couldn't find them anywhere else. Don't suppose they're available in Orlando?

I can't wait to eat a butterfinger crisp!! I ordered a box of 24 once from ebay for an extortionate price because my craving got so bad :) :)

I am enjoying your thread. I live in the US.

I will chime in, I just love deep fried snickers.

They also do deep fried twinkies and oreos. I will try and find my pics and show you.

Chilli big bite from 7-11....then again any hotdog that has chilli on it is a winner in my eyes!

BBQ pulled pork sandwiches, ive had these in england but the ones in america seem nicer.

Ah you cant beat cheetos! The only problem with them tho is no matter how many times you wash your hands you still have cheesey fingers all day!! :lmao:

Also love lays! Have to buy the HUGE bag! Also love chips (fries) with cheese. Mmmmm

Does anyone knowe how well stocked the Hess garage opposite DTD is for stuff like this?

We were thinking of doing a garden grocer shop but not sure how much we would need. That being said reading this my list is getting longer and just the thought of it all is making my waist line bigger too. :rotfl2:

Oh and beware we almost went over our weight limit on the way home in M&Ms alone :rotfl: Think it was over 7lbs of them :rotfl:

Oh forgot to add the following
Butter fingers
Baby ruths
York peppermint Dark Choc ones, DH thought he had died and gone to heaven with those.
