So I just started to research some favor ideas and am struggling with the lack of Disney, specifically Cinderella/Fairy Tale favors out there. I was originally thinking of doing something edible.... but I have since been told I am having a Disney Wedding and our guests are going to want a keepsake from that (personally, I rarely keep the wedding favors I have been given). Any suggestions, ideas, or pictures that you have from your weddings, or anything out of the box that I can do that isn't necessarily a "favor" gift, ie. a wine bottle stopper or something from a favor site. I appreciate anything you got!!! Thanks!

I am giving two favors not sure if they are what you are looking for but one is Mickey hats with there name on it mainly because I want a picture of all the guest in one. Then I am having a caricature artist there that is going to draw each family. I feel like the picture they will keep.

This is almost exactly what I am planning. (Just not sure about having the names on the hats. Are you having Disney do that?)

We did two favors as well. One was a castle luggage tag that doubled as a place card:

And the other were two truffles that we brought from home which were a pain but a big hit as well.

We made the boxes and stuffed them with the truffles and brought them on the plane...

For a more "Disney" keepsake, you could definitely look on Disney Shopping and find something. They have a lot of personalizable items that you could mark with your name and/or date. We were going to do this until we decided on the luggage tags instead (much cheaper :rotfl:)

Are you getting these from DFTW? I have thought about this... DO you mind telling me how much?

I was actually looking at those exact Luggage tags online this morning--- that is a great idea to use them as seating cards as well... thanks for the idea!

Link to the Disney Store

The basic black ears are 11.95 + 4.95 personalization. The rest run up to around 15.95 with the same personalization. I'm waiting until we actually get to Disney because with the Annual Passes, you get a discount on merchandise (I want to say 20%) and I've seen more hats in the stores than online. There is a great store in Hollywood Studios on the right side of Hollywood Blvd near the end. They also offer more fonts and in more colors - we had an "Old English" font on the back our of Skeleton Mickey Ears for the MNSSHP.

Lurkyloo has a photo of all her guests wearing the hats. It is a great picture.

I think it is $4.50 to have the names put on. We are probably just going to do the hats. I play to go to the World of Disney and buy them a few days before our wedding. We get a small discount with our Disney Visa and I won't have to worry about transporting them down.

Ohhh... that is a good idea but I am having over 100 people at my wedding so alone that would be close to $2,000 for favors... wayyyy too much to spend, though it is a great idea. Maybe for the kids since there will only be about 10 of them and I wanted to do something different for them.

They actually just changed the price for personalization it is $8 per hat now. I just got my floral budget. I am guessing any bride who got ther budget before this will be ok. They changed it in the park to $8 and DFTW charges the same as the park. However the disney store website has the ears and they are still charging $4.95 and they sometimes run a free personalization promotion I got my BMs swim suit wraps from one of the sales. I am looking for the sale again to see if the ears count in the discount. I hope they do!!

One of our favors was a brownie from Fairytale brownies (brownies.com)! We set it next to the placecard that listed the person's name and "thanks for coming to our fairytale wedding!" They are absolutely delicious! I heard about them through the disboards, and we bought them in bulk, so it lowered the price because it didn't come with the fancy box. :goodvibes

We are having Mickey and Minnie attend out Cake Cutting, so at dinner we are having someone deliver autographed "promo type" picture of Mickey and Minne along with the Mickey Rice Treats for each of our guests.

Then for our at home reception/picnic we got little silver frames and are going to put a wedding picture of us in it for each guest.

For Ours depending on the number of guests we will or won't do personalized (or regular) mouse ears(if not we'll get them for the kids to go in a goodie bag will have other things to occupy them with). For the adults I love the idea of Cinderella Castle Christmas Ornaments. We may do those and have the Glass Slipper ones as Escort Cards with the Menus rolled up like a scroll and place mints(I've seen Mints and sweet tarts shaped like Mickey, Minnie, Donald & Goofy at Candy Wearhouse) which would be easy to transport home. Also if money allows for us the adult favors may be the smaller Cinderella Slippers(glass ones) from Arribas Bros. That are priced at $12 each. For our Sweetheart Table though as our Escort Card & Favor I am going to have Bride & Groom Ears waiting for us and the Medium Size Personalized Glass Cinderella Slipper with each of our first names on them(It's a twist of an idea off of David Tutera's "My Fair Weddings" in the episode where he has an engraved huge faux Diamond at the Bride & Grooms Seats). I too would love a picture of all our guests wearing Mickey Ears(Lurkyloo love your DLR Ears worn at WDW) if not just the kids, especially in the pictures we will have taken when Mickey & Minnie make their "secret appearance" at our reception. We also are going to see if we can get the promotional autographed pictures for the kids only and arrange for a few posed pictures of the kids only with Mickie & Minnie which we will use our own camera for and print out for the kids to bring home with them(and if they really wish can bring into school for Show & Tell).
