This is basically my favors. We bought these boxes in white, and then we are going to make a green bow around with a tag that has our monogram. Inside we are putting milk chocolate truffles.HTH!

We debated favors for a long time--are people going to trash them? Should we spend more money on edibles when we're giving them a lavish buffet? Are guests even going to notice if we skip the Jordan almonds? But we finally came up with a great idea: lottery tickets. For $1 a piece, they're cheaper than anything else. Nobody has to cart them back home in their suitcases. And I imagine that some people will win a few bucks, and they might even decide that they want to contribute a greater amount to the Sungela wedding fund. We're not big gamblers, but we do believe in luck, and we feel very lucky to be together and to have our Disney dream wedding. We're going to buy Florida scratch off tickets with a summer/sunshine theme, and put them in little envelopes with a phrase like "We hope you're as lucky as we are."

Great idea for the lottery tickets. My dad gave $10.00 worth of lottery tickets to someone for their birthday and they won $50.00.

Mickey heads from home depot? what are those???

If you go to the paint section of any Home Depot, they carry Disney paint samples, which are in the shape of Mickey Mouse ears (they're actually stickers) There is a couple forums on Dis that show different ways to use the ears/samples. And the best part they are free. Some people make luggage tags, lost kid tags, etc. Check it out. Insider tip: The alien green color is the secret color for DISmembers.

We split our favors into two of our favorite things - golf and travel. So half of the guests will be getting golf balls, the other half will get luggage tags. (We have extras, so if people want to switch or extras, we'll have 'em onhand!)

The golf balls be in a clear box tied with a chocolate ribbon with a tee attached. The luggage tags will have our logo slid into the slot where addresses are so the two would (sort of) match. I think in the long run, they came out to be less than $2.50 a person.

I was thinking of doing antennea balls or mickey ears. Although I think I have decided on mickey rice cripsy treats. They are my fiance's favorite and I have read so many favors that people did not like. Isn't it funny all the thought and time and energy every decision, no matter how miniscule it is, takes. Even, what color of ribbon goes around the flowers. I think I am getting a little stressed with the end of school semester and I am taking it out on my wedding planning! OOPS! Didn't mean to go off topic.

I am obsessed with antenna toppers!!!! I really wanted to do them but Craig says that they'd get stolen in no time in the UK...and they aren't really that cheap. I sat and counted one day and I have about 60 of them and have been trying to come up with ways to incorporate them...so far...no luck.

They aren't that cheap. I was thinking about using them for place cards. Personlize them with their name and table. 60 antennea balls!! WOW! My mom has a small collection- less than 20 I think.
