Just back from WDW (stayed at Pop)...6/11 to 6/17. DH and I were there for DD's 6th birthday with her 2 1/2 yo sister, my parents, my brother and 4 yo niece.

What a completely magical experience. I am on SUCH a Disney high right now.

My personal favorite(s):

Ride - Splash Moutain/Haunted Mansion

Meal - CRT

Character - Mickey/Minnie

Teary Moment - Watching the girls craning their necks on the bus and my oldest yelling "There it is! There's Cinderella's castle!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She turned to me and said "That is where ALL the characters live. They live with Cinderella". I got all choked up. The Disney magic lives just like Santa Claus.

Laughing Moment - When my youngest was dancing with Chip and Dale in the middle of Chef Mickeys as if no one else in the world was around. OMG It was SOOOOOOOO cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Adult Surprise - giving all the dads a surprise Segway tour for an early Fathers day gift

Kid Surprise - Secretly leaving a Princess baby doll for each girl on their beds when we left in the morning for them to find with a note from their favorite princess welcoming them to Disney

Extra - Wishes Cruise

Well, those are only a few of the highlights. We had such a wonderful time.

PS We ate at Boma, Chef Mickeys, CRT (lunch), Crystal Palace, Ohana and 1900 Park Faire for table services in case anyone has questions!!!!!

Sounds like you had a fantastic trip. I still remember those first encounters with the characters too. And that first parade...they waved to the characters and they waved back....My DD's felt so special


Every trip has it's moments, can't wait to have new ones real soon.

I was surprised how into the characters DD #2 was! She loved EVERY one but particularly cared for Chip and Dale. She liked the costumed ones better than the "real" people!!

Cant wait to go back but we will wait for a few years until DD #2 is a little older and 40" !!
