Favorite WDW foods

I love my Mickey waffles! Like the mickey bar, they're essentially a "I'm in Disney World! And I'm eating! Hooray!" Kind of thing, but still, it wouldn't be a good trip without Mickey waffles!

Truthfullt?
I haven't been to WDW enough to try enough of the foods to have a favorite.

I thought the Dole Whip was heavenly.

I thoroughly enjoyed everything at Boma and Tusker House.

I do enjoy smoked turkey legs, but I have never had them at WDW. I don't think I would ever eat them in public!

Caribbean Jerk Sandwich at Earl of Sandwich - this sandwich feels like Disney no matter which Earl I go to

I will second the warm pretzel bread from Le Cellier - :cloud9:

DH and I agreed on this one - they have since changed it to just a regular strawberry bar BUT they used to have a strawberry bar in MGM Studios that had a thin wax coating on it. I know it sounds weird but it was oh, so good. I tried to find them at home when they were sold in the park but no such luck. I still miss those bars. Good times, good times.

DH also wanted to contribute his favorite: a cheeseburger, fries, and chocolate milk shake from Beaches and Cream.

Puffed french toast at the Crystal Palace.

Peanut butter pie at the Boardwalk Bakery.

Green beans at the Garden Grill.

Beef brewat rolls at Restaurant Marrakesh.

That little apple pie thingy at the America fast food place in the World Showcase.

PB&J shake from 50's Prime Time.

:lovestrucPOR cheesecake!! and their pastas :)
also love the Biergarten Bavarian Cheesecake and the Rote Gruetze with Vanilla Sauce, put them together and it's heaven for your taste buds
Love Cosmic Ray's Cafe food too lol fries yuummmm

This is excellent. I will now have to try all of these mentioned by all of you .... someday! I haven't done much table service dining in Disney, so that's on my list of things to do. In the meantime, here are my faves that I have every time, if possible:

1) Dole Whip float! I miss the free pineapple spear, though...

2) A soft pretzel and a Sam Adams in America in World Showcase... I know this is a little dull, but I love wandering WS with these in hand. :)

3) I really love the turkey sandwich in MGM in the counter service restaurant next to the Jedi Training Academy (ABC Commissary??) ... that with Ken's honey mustard is yummy.

4) Pecos Bills fixins bar... I heart the sauteed mushrooms. Again, they're nothing special, and mushrooms aren't the first thing that comes to mind for most Disney visitors, but I loooove them.

5) Champagne in france in a light up champagne glass (which i think is automatically included after dark)! And, I like getting one of the light up ice cubes in my drink when I order from the Rose and Crown. I don't care if it costs extra to get the light up ice cube. I like my drink to GLOW!

:sunny:

Tonga Toast from Kona

Grown Up Grilled Cheese from Captain Cook's

Dole Whip

Chocolate covered rice crispy treats with M&Ms from Goofy's Candy Company

Grey Goose slushies (orange :D)

I LOVE the noodles and the potstickers at O'hana! The bread pudding is pretty great, too. The Napoleans at the France CS place are very good. Any cupcake at Starring Rolls is fabulous. Wow, I do have a lot of favorites!!

School Bread in Norway
Gigantic ice cream cookie sandwich from MS Bakery
Grapefruit Cake from Brown Derby

I found a french toast person!!!! HooooRay!!!!

I have not heard of most of these foods you are mentioning. I am going to print this list out and take it with me next time we go and try everything. :thumbsup2

Keep em coming....

I feel like I haven't eaten nearly enough Disney food!!

I have to admit I am not great with eating on holiday, I get so immersed in being at Disney that I forget to eat!

These have given me some great ideas!

Foods at Disney that I love:
- Fries at Casey's corner. I love the crispyness and the skin! Yummy!
- Chicken tenders- they just take me back to being a child, and they don't seem to be as nice in the UK
- Frozen lemonades- mmm delicious!

I love my Mickey waffles! Like the mickey bar, they're essentially a "I'm in Disney World! And I'm eating! Hooray!" Kind of thing, but still, it wouldn't be a good trip without Mickey waffles!

Agreed with the Mickey waffles. A simple pure breakfast treat. DD loves Dole Whips, and can't stop talking about getting one this summer when we are in the MK for our "Give a Day, Get a Day". We volunteered at a local animal shelter, and she said scrubbing litter boxes was worth it if she could get a Dole Whip. Me? Meh. Not a fan of Pineapple.

Black bean soup at sunshine seasons (my fav anywhere)
Lighthouse sandwich at Columbia Harbor house
bread service at Sanaa
Sundae at Auntie Gravities (not necessarily the best, but a sentimental favorite)
Macadamia-Pineapple pancakes at Kona Cafe (unbelievable, enough to share)
