I haven't been to too many bars at WDW, but I think the Bar/Lounge at 50s Prime Time Cafe is cool. What are some other's favorite bar/lounge that they like to take a break away from the parks? Do you have a best kept bar/lounge secret? One precursor, please stick to bars on the Disney property. :D

I like The Outer Rim at The Contemporary. My hubby and I are looking forward to trying out a lot more of them on our upcoming June trip..

Favorites:

1) The Outer Rim at the Contemporary and the CG bar (best LIT's)
2) Pool bar at the Polynesian (great fireworks viewing)
3) Bellvue Room at Boardwalk
4) Lounge at O'hana's
5) Pool bar at DAKL
6) Pool bar at CR
7) Victoria Falls at DAKL (good flatbread pizza)
8) Territory Lounge at the WL (good wings and pizza)

Tambu Lounge - Polynesian. Great appetizers, seating, and tropical drinks.

We went down for the opening of the Disney Studios and we had a couple of drinks in the bar at the 50's Prime Time Cafe and the bartender made us a milk shake that made the room spin...LOL ...it was the best drink I have ever had and when we went back a few months later, the bartender wasn't there anymore and no one had heard of the milk shake... shame to!!

Tambu lounge gets my vote also. Nothing says vacation to me like sitting in the Tambu lounge while sipping on a Lapu Lapu does!!!! ;)

Mizner's at the Grand Floridian, especially around six, when the waning light of dusk filters through the windows as the Grand Floridian Band performs.

The Outer Rim at the Contemporary. Monorail Yellows rule!

The Belleview Lounge at the Boardwalk Resort has a fantastic scotch collection; and it's cozy in the winter

Definitely the Tambu lounge. Even though we haven't stayed at the poly yet, we always manage to find our way there for a couple of drinks. Lapu lapu's rule !!!

I have to agree with the pool bar at the Polynesian. Love the pina coladas.

Another favorite is like many of the others..the Outer Rim. I thought the bar at the AK looked interesting, but haven't been there yet. Anyone had a chance to experience that one? I don't know the name.

Could you please tell me what LIT's are?

Clynnjones- that stands for Long Island Ice Tea's which is a drink comprised of about 7 different liquors that if made properly tastes like iced tea.

My favorites are:
Territory Lounge at Wilderness Lodge
Crew's Cup at yacht CluB Resort
Victoria falls at AKL

I'd like Mizner's at the GF a lot better if they had any good beer..

The bar at AK in Africa is the Dawa Bar. Discovered this last trip. Great drinks, fun just to hang out and watch the limbo dancers while you wait for the parade.

I miss "The Catwalk Bar" @ the studios. It was in the same bldg as the Brown Derby and the blue bear show (?)...

My faves now...Bellvue, Tune In Lounge and Dawa Bar (the best bloody marys) in Africa @ DAK.

BTW, Happy Mardi Gras... Oh, it's Carnival Time!!!

Dude

It would be fun if they'd incorporate a bar into the Tower of Terror building.

Have to plug my favorite little spot-"Scat Cat's" at POFQ. People there are so friendly. And I used to love it when Elliot Dyson played there-then it was free to listen to him. Now you have to pay to go to the Jazz Club at PI to hear him. Good for him, bad for us.

Here are my favorites:

California Grill Lounge - The Contemporary Resort's 15th-floor lounge with unrivaled views of the Magic Kingdom's and the Seven Seas Lagoon, great for cocktails, sushi, and a view of the Wishes fireworks.

Mizner's Lounge - 2nd story lobby lounge at the Grand Floridian overlooking the pristine grounds of this one-of-a-kind resort.

The Grand Floridian Lobby Lounge - Sip on cocktails in the magnificent lobby of the Grand Floridian to the sounds of a Big Band orchestra or live piano music.

Territory Lounge - Rustic lounge in the Wilderness Lodge

Tambu Lounge - Order a tropical drink here at the Polynesian Resort's Great Ceremonial House amid lush foliage and views of the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Top of the Palace Lounge - High atop the Wyndham Palace Resort near Downtown Disney is this sophisticated bar with the best views around.

Villian Dude:
If the Catwalk still existed (it's never open when we're at WDW), it would be at the top of my list. Nothing like sitting back in those big overstuffed chairs they had---.
